It is pretty unrealistic, that's an issue I have with FIFA too. But then what's the point of a realistic video game? There should be a challenge, more of a challenge in fact, in taking Bristol Rovers to the Champions League, but it shouldn't be impossible.

Its pretty hard as it is in football manager. I would put benjawi's success down to him being really good at the game rather than the game being too easy.
FIFA is ten times easier than FM solely based on the fact you play the matches.

A match with twelve goals was more the point of the picture.
And your argument about realism... I don't get it. The whole point of football manager is to delve many years into the future and lead your club to glory. How do you know Eaat Fife won't win the SPL?
Swansea were a match away from relegation into the conference ten years ago. Who would have predicted premier league football, a carling cup and european football in the next decade?
My point is you cant predict that far into the future therefore cant call it unrealistic. Hes about fifteen years in so that's plenty of time to completely transform a team into European champions in a football manager world that I believe only spans over 30 seasons.
