Just a thread for it... usually they reveal the full roster at SummerSlam, but here's a leaked roster that might or might not be real as well as some other stuff.

At a recent event in New York City, select members of the press got to interview WWE 2K14 pre-order bonus Legend, The Ultimate Warrior, and yes, spend some time with a build of WWE 2K14.

While we didn't give away everything, there were some notable improvements discussed at the event. And since we don't want to leave you in the dark, check out below for a list of all the tweaks, changes and updates discussed at the event, and make sure to stay tuned for more great updates to your new favorite game, WWE 2K14.

NEW NAVIGATION SYSTEM
The entire navigation system has been overhauled and reanimated including all walking, running, and dragging motions to give the game a more fluid and life-like feel and look.
Overall Superstar movement has been accelerated, meaning the action is faster-paced and more like what you see on WWE television.
There is now a "starting up" animation for when Superstars begin running. This leads to a more natural-looking match, where it is more difficult to "spam" running attacks.
Animation gestures have been added such as adjusting wrist bands, motioning for your opponent to get up, and many more to give a human-like appearance to the navigation system.
STRIKING CHANGES
Strikes and strike combos are now quicker and snappier, making them faster and harder to reverse.
Successfully landing a strike combo now puts your opponent in a groggy state, making groggy grapples appear earlier and more frequently.
REVERSAL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
Reversing a grapple move now causes the reverser to do a move of his/her own automatically.
This cuts down on the endless back-and-forth "reversal fest" some users complained of in WWE '13 while also making the match move faster.
CATAPULT FINISHERS
Catching Finishers can now be executed offensively, by Irish Whipping your opponent to the ropes with a finisher stored or catapulting your opponent up when they run towards you.
Select finisher moves give you the ability to launch an opponent into the air and then hit them with a Catch Finisher on the way back down.
NEW OMG MOMENTS
New multi-man OMG Moments added to help you gain the upper-hand in multi-man matches. One OMG move can take out two opponents in one shot making it easier to get the win against multiple opponents.
Double Attitude Adjustment
Double Shellshock
Double Chokeslam
New OMG Moments added to allow you to dole out even more damage using the ring environment.
Boot-to-head on outside ringpost
DDT on the apron
TWO-COUNTS
One of the most reviled bugs in WWE '13 was the dearth of two-counts. This issue has been addressed, bringing back the dramatic near falls you know and love.
As you can see: Pretty exciting stuff. And the best news? We're only getting started with all the updates and revamps that come with WWE 2K14. As always, for the latest info on WWE 2K14, make sure to follow @WWEGames on Twitter and like us on Facebook. And don't forget to pre-order WWE 2K14, available in October 29 in North America, November 1 internationally.

Those stats are way off, definitely fake.

The official stuff all sounds good, love the snark at the two count thing. Still, I can't get overly excited for this one since it's still mostly a THQ game. It'll be very similar to the last one, which was the same as WWE 12, which was the same as SvR 2011, and so on back to Here Comes The Pain. Next year, with 2K fully in control and the new platforms to run on, we should have something a lot better. For now, we'll see.

Well honestly, I liked what THQ were doing. It wasn't perfect, but it did the job. I loved the way the matches felt in WWE 13 and I especially loved the way things like the Brogue Kick were able to be done from just running and it hit smoothly with little to no graphic glitches. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good game for a wrestling title.

2k will obviously make 2k15 their own game, but they will always have influence from the old games. Things like the OMG moments need to stay in, they may be tweaked but they will remain, and so it'll always sort of feel like a THQ game.

The engine hasn't changed for nearly a decade and they've only ever tweaked a few things to make improvements rather than doing anything drastic to really bring the games forward. You're right that some of the moves flowed really nicely, but they still haven't managed to make the models fit together without clipping, or even lay a guy in the right place to hit a 450. Seriously. I do the thing where the guy is in the corner and you lay him down in position, but the move overshoots. That's ridiculous. Then there's the endless bugs, like the one in WWE 12 where occasionally a guy would run out into the audience and keep going forever, or the one last year where a load of people never got two counts.

They're long overdue for a massive overhaul. I don't know if they just hit the limit for the old hardware like five years ago, but there's been little to no graphic improvement for ages. My guess is that this one will be fine, maybe even pretty good, but nothing compared to what it should be. Fingers crossed for everything coming together next year.

I think overall it's just a difficult sport to simulate without it being to arcade... however i think the 2K studios are capable of pushing it a bit... they are very good at sports games... except baseball i don't know what went wrong there... and they ruled it with the NFL before the exclusive contract stuff happened... so while this years game will probably be more of the same with the same engine with minor tweaks to quickly cash in this year like all sports games, the upgrade and new engines if they want them wont be until you guys play next years game on ps4/xb1 i know this because it's how madden is likely going to turn out they are hyping a new engine and all that jazz but its basically in the small letters that it only really applies to the next gen... so if your like me and planning on buying madden for current gen this year then don't expect big changes more like little updates from last years game... unless i'm wrong and they really do have a new engine in place to run on current hardware... i just wonder due to how little info and video is out for that game.

Anyways yeah i would just count on more of the same this year and expect next year to really show off something new and for your guys sake hopefully worth while and not just because it has better graphics... i want to see some solid gameplay because if they can't get it right on the next gen then i have no idea.

also total divas is ass what a waste of tv time.

I might buy that. That's quite a lot for a special edition game. Hopefully, it doesn't cost a ridiculous amount more than the regular game.

This game cost $60 dollars over here... collector editions like this tend to be around $100-150.

Looks like this year's attitude era mode is going to be a WrestleMania mode: http://www.joystiq.com/2013/08/12/wwe-2 … ania-mode/

So it'll pretty much just be Legends of WrestleMania all over again.

Yes, I noticed that Brad Maddox was rated higher than quite a few people, and that the Miz is a 92??????

I'm still mad I never played the game that had Demolition in it.  The list of legends is nothing special, with the exception of Batista for now.

I like how they're changing the reversals.

KM Fun Fact:  I was ecstatic with Shaolin when I got WM 2000.  It came out at the height of Attitude, and our first match was Austin vs Vince in a cage.  That was the first game where the ratings were more accurate, and Shaolin beat the shit out of me with Austin. 🙁

I have been playing this lately, its an ok game... but i wanna talk about the streak mode... taking down Undertaker is like Mortal Kombat's Shao Khan, it's ridiculous, so much so that it's fun... i haven't beaten him yet and i've tried many times now... closest i've come is with Stone Cold... every chair and sledgehammer and 4 stunners isn't enough...

i've looked up some tips that are all like just change his moves in the edit move section, but fuck that... i wanna do it the real way.
