Defo. He's a good manager. What I'd love to see if him take charge of a Scottish team. I reckon he could get a team together that would challenge for the title easily. Would also add some entertainment to the league which it badly needs.
Some of the names I've seen thrown around already as replacements wouldn't fill me with much hope if I was a Palace fan. All the names are guys who've been out of football for quite a while or who are no where near as good as Holloway.
His quality as a manager is what's fucked him up the most, he brings teams up who aren't good enough for Premier League and it shows with the struggle. Palace have no business being in the top flight.

He signed two players and then didnt put them into his 25 man squad. He didnt have a clue what he was doing. Can't feel sorry for someone that didnt have a clue what they were doing.
People think he was good because blackpool 'had a go' in the premier, but defensively he was poor. Think redknapp with no budget and even less tactical knowledge....
Palace can stay up, but they need someone who can build and balance a squad, and then get the defence playing as a unit. Martin O'Neil would be good, but I doubt he'll go there. They'll prob get martin jol, or sign an explayer.
Holloway is a media darling because of his sound bites. As a manager, he's poor. Would any of u want him at your club? Nuff said...
He was fantastic at Plymouth. We had a League One team and he had us challenging for the Championship Play Offs.

McLaren was fantastic with the United reserves. Keane was fantastic in his first season at sunderland, dougie freedman was fantastic at palace before holloway. Doesnt make them good managers tho.
He had Plymouth punching well above their weight, he had Palace doing it as well last season and same with Blackpool. He's not one of the best, but he's a good manager. You don't get 2 teams promoted otherwise, especially when those teams were not good enough to be promoted when looking at the team.
So did Neil Warnock with Sheff Utd, amongst others and he's not good either.
I like him, and I dont think Palace will stay up regardleaa of who comes in because they bought so badly before the season.
What Im saying is he was the architect of his own demise. He bought players and then left them out of the squad. He have kevin phillips another contract when he wasnt starting games in the championship. He didnt buy any experience that would strengthen his side.
Why not buy charlie austin? He was tearing up the championship. Why not buy curtis davies? Why not take kyle naughton on loan from spurs? Why not take lee cattermole from sunderland? All players that were available, and all players that would have strengthened palace. Instead he brings in cheap foreigners and doesnt put some of them in the squad.
I thought he would do a lot better this season, but once that windon closed their was only one way they were going and that was his fault. Therefore he should go. Personally I'd have sacked him rather than allow him to leave by mutual concent.
Ian Holloway has parted company with Crystal Palace as they sit second bottom of the Premier League..
Gotta feel sorry for Holloway
