Liverpool related Rumours:

Pepe Reina to Barcelona in a swap for the young striker, Cristian Tello - I wouldn't want to lose Reina who is still under contract until 2016, but Barcelona are apparently willing to spend upto £10m in getting him back, and I think if Rodgers has the chance to get some cash and also his hands on Tello then I think he would go for it, as he is a good Under 21 talent, and the fact he only had 11 starts in La Liga might encourage Tello to want a swap as he was linked with Liverpool last year, and this could provide a good young partnership with Coutinho

Ashley Williams - After Jamie Carragher announced his retirement, there was rumours of Rodgers looking at the Swansea captain as his replacement, my problem with this is that Managers always seem to look at their old clubs for players, and this hasn't really worked out well for Joe Allen at Liverpool...

PSG have apparently made Christiano Ronaldo one of their top summer targets, be interesting to see if Ronaldo would be willing to jump ship, but it seems their are a lot of rumours about PSG over the last few weeks from Arsene Wenger to Wayne Rooney and now Ronaldo..

Hearing David Villa to Spurs.
Don't really want this one.  3 years ago, I'd be all over it, but he's 31 and hasn't ever really recovered from a broken leg.  I don't think Levy will allow it as he prefers younger players that can be sold for profit later on.

Benteke to Spurs.
We seem to be linked to every striker going...  I'm not convinced Benteke will score goals regularly as he doesn't seem clinical to me, but he looks ok.  I'd prefer Torres or Damiao tho.

Bad move all round really.  Carroll is too good for West Ham and should be at a top 6 club.  No clue why Liverpool don't want him, I think they'll regret it in the longer term.  Also don't think West Ham have the infrastructure to afford him and can see this being the start of a new melt down for them.

Apparently Tevez could be leaving City for Monaco and being replaced by Falcao. There's some talk about Dzeko leaving too, which would make me a very sad panda. Sinclair is another common rumour, but I'm alright with that.

L'Equipe is reporting that PSG have opened negotiations with Wayne Rooney who is apparently "enormously interested" in a move to PSG

Joao Mourtinho
Another obvious rumor, but it keeps coming around, and Joao has said he wants to work with AVB again, so I can hope!  We missed a real ball player last season, and Joao could be the one to make us tick.  Would love to see him and Sandro in the centre of the pitch, with Dembele playing just ahead and Torres making the moves up front.

Monaco brought someone who I think may be the best in the world some day with Rodriguez. But when players with potential go to these oil rich clubs they usually never fufill their potential because of the circumstances at these clubs.

Monaco now look like they're set to add Falcao to their summer signings as well for just over £50m. They're spending crazy money.

With these two transfers coming in for Liverpool, it looks like they have their replacement for Jamie Carragher and also it begs the question of Skrtel's future at Anfield, and even though he is contracted to 2016, looks like he could be asking for an exit if these transfers go ahead.

Moyes' Midfield Targets

Apparently Moye is wanting to strengthen his Midfield and his targets are Cesc Fabregas, Marouane Fellani and Thiago Alcantara and then he is still looking for another big statement signing especially if Rooney leave United...

I thought Moyes would bring Fellaini with him. I think he'd be a good fit at United if he does go.

Losing Fellaini would be a huge blow to Everton. My prediction is that if he goes they'll finish below Liverpool next year. They probably will anyway.

Well with Suarez saying that he wants to leave England because the way the English Media has treated his Wife & Child, and also what looks like the impending departure of Reina aswell and the retirement of Carragher, that's 3 out the 4 who were classed as "The Spine" of the team leaving the club, then Liverpool are going to have to buy well to replace these players.

I know we have Toure on a free from City but I can only see him coming off the bench and not playing the full 90 every week. I just hope the don't go for like a young striker of which they can develop etc and the same for a goalkeeper aswell because losing a world class striker and your top goal scorer, you need an immediate replacement or we definatly wont be finishing in a decent league position

Fantastic player.  Will be one of the worlds top defenders if you use him correctly.  He's quick, marks brilliantly and tackles like a beast.  Not great on the ball tho, so might struggle with the way Rodgers likes to play.  More of a John Terry than a Rio Ferdinand.

Seriously hope you don't get him and he comes to Spurs...

Suarez needs to leave, tbh.  £40m (his buyout clause) is good business, especially as you already have his replacement (Sturridge).  Reina has been quite poor for a few years now, so selling him for £10m is also gd business, especially if you get Ron-Robert Ziegler to replace him who has all the tools to be a top, top keeper (you have been linked with him and could get him for around £5-6m).  Carragher being replaced by Toure is also good business, one sub for another.  Gives you £50m to spend, and you can get a couple of decent players in for that, especially as players still want to play for Liverpool based on name value rather than where you are in the league.  Take Shaun Malloney from Wigan for £2m and he'll replace a good part of the creativity Suarez has, and Sturridge will get around 20 goals next season for you.  I see good things for Liverpool in the future.  Well, if I was the manager there you would be on for good things...

He's a good player though. I want him to leave though because he's a twat and I'm fed up of hearing him going on about how he's victimised by the press.
