Apparently Spike TV is happy with Impact Wrestling's ratings. More so content I'd say. It seems to be the lead in show to their MMA show that is after it.

Yeah, Spike is really all they have going for them right now. Without a TV outlet, TNA would fail in days. The problem they have right now is touring, they're paying out $600,000 per set of tapings, with no option of going back to the Impact Zone. They can't keep doing that forever.

My favourite times of TNA were pre Panda Energy, when they had no TV deal etc, I used to love moving my arm chair infront of my Computer and staying up late watching Impact, then I turned off after they screwed Raven out of the title ready for the Spike TV launch at a house show.

I think it was best around 2004-2006. When Jarrett was champion most of the time but no one really cared about him because the X Division was top. Styles, Daniels, Joe, LAX, Team Canada even the feuds with Rhino and Abyss, it really felt like an alternate to WWE.

Ye, I really did like it back then with Team Canada etc, remembering The original Monsters Ball matches where they were locked away for 24 hours with no food or water in a room with no light before the match... Monty Brown was brilliant back then as well..

i didn't watch it closely back then, but I loved petey W & the canadian destroyer... until i saw it in slow mo, and saw what it was... it's a as spectacular as it is ridiculous. Oh, the good old days.
Didnt tna have eddie G for a while? back in the weekly PPV days?
2002-2005 were amazing times for TNA. They were absolutely fantastic. Great shows, fantastic roster, promos were exciting, matches were great too. It seemed they could do no wrong. It's such a shame they've turned into what they have. If they had kept that quality of 2002-2005 through til today, we could have a legit challenger as the top promotion in America.

I miss the good ol' days of TNA as well. I loved the whole look of the Impact Zone back then, with the six-sided ring and the tunnel entrance. I liked the dark arena too, meant we couldn't see the empty seats and gave TNA a sort of "underground alternative" look!
Do the Brits here remember watching TNA on Eurosports on a Friday evening a couple of years ago? Eurosports dubbed the commentators with their own, and it was about 6 months or so behind.

I remember Eurosport a little and I also remember TNA when they showed it on The Wrestling Channel (R.I.P, TWC was a great channel, used to watch the old World of Sport on there and everything) and it was about a month behind but still good fun.
And we actually have a brit wrestling talk show too, WrestleTalk TV on Challenge on Sunday Nights, and even though the potential for a good show is there, they have an annoying host who doesn't really know what he's talking about and who's always making jokes he thinks are hilarious but no-one else does. If I presented that show (or anyone from this forum really), it'd be great... alas, Joey (or whatever his poxy name is) has that job.

Joel Ross. And I've often thought the same, but I've literally (literally!) just got done doing a podcast where I am, in fact, that host who thinks he's funny but isn't. So, you know, I wouldn't be any worse!

A wrestling podcast? If so why no link up?

Yep. It's not uploaded anywhere yet, but I will do when it is.

i just hope they don't lose their tv deal. when that happened to wcw, vince swooped up and stole the company. he then proceeded to shit-can half the roster.
