I've avoided this game since it came out, frankly. Well, that's not wholly true, actually. More accurately, I watched some "before you buy" type things and other reviews, and also have seen a handful of videos of people playing it and... yeeeaaah. It seems to be a very broken game, practically incomplete and at times, unplayable, from what I've seen. In watching a couple comparison-based videos, it seems that some of the physics and graphics details that *do* work are actually a step down from 2K19.
The last WWE 2K game I ever bought and played was 2K16, which is a pretty decent game. I've heard generally good things about the three games that came after it, but as you said, they're all priced like new releases still. (I'm referring to the PS4 Store editions.) It makes no sense whatsoever, and no way I'm paying that kind of money for any 2K game. If they ever get dropped down to $20, or I find them for that price in a bin, I'd possibly pick up 2K18 or 2k19.

This game was so bugged. I didn't get it, but I saw so many videos released in the first week alone showing all kinds of different bugs, mainly gameplay ones, that were hilariously bad. So bad that they've already said that they intend to skip 2K21. Which is good, as they really need to take a good hard look at how they fucked the game up so badly. It probably needs a full rewrite which will take some time, so a good decision to skip a year and actually work on making a game that works properly.
I saw some of the reviews everyone is talking about. I bought this cheap and hoping they made some patches or something. So far no horrific issues but you can def see a drop in quality visually. And so far the MyCareer mode makes me wanna cry, it’s so corny and stupid. I appreciate what they were going for, but oof is it stupid. My dude is like a complete moron lol at least my friend has some potential. Luckily I didn’t get the game for the story mode.
I remember spending HOURS creating all the wrestlers I wanted that the game didn’t have, so downloading them in seconds is so so great.
So if you guys can just upload all your 4CW stuff, I’ll start switching everything over......winkface

All I’ve heard and read was this game was ass, but I got that bug where I wanna manage my own Universe and get all the attitude and Golden Era guys back. I went to buy 2K19 and it’s full price LOL
So I bought 2K20 at nearly 50% off. So my question, has anyone purchased this? And if so, what do you guys think?
