I don’t think they do anything. I think they only did it to make Charlotte look more important and that she has a belt to fall back on when she loses at Mania.

I thought they'd merge the titles... But then I expect Lynch to leave with the title which rules that out since the match is currently only scheduled for the Raw title. They'll just use it to add a bit more to the match. More of a main event feel than it already was. Less than 2 weeks and Asuka had no real challenger, so makes sense to take the title off her for Charlotte instead of just throwing together another match for Mania.

Kofi vs Bryan has been confirmed as well at Smackdown. I actually think this match will be good. Kofi has always been good, and I would love to see him move away from being just a gimmick like at the Rumble. Showcase him, what he can actually do as a wrestler as he's better than possibly more than half the roster. I'd love to see him walk out as champion, although how they'd then book him would worry me a lot. You just know that they'd treat him as a fluke champion.

There's quite a few matches that could be 4 star matches, even one or two that could be pushing towards being 5 star. Not entirely sure where all the hate for this card is coming from.

Those people will never be pleased with Mania because they are expecting it to fail. There's plenty of marquee matches on the card and people need to stop whinging.

We're a week away. What matches are people looking forward to the most?

I'd probably go with:
Bryan vs Kingston
Styles vs Orton
Rousey vs Charlotte vs Lynch.

They should all be good matches.

I’m looking forward to Bryan v Kofi, Rollins v Lesnar, the women’s triple threat and Styles v Orton the most. Rey v Joe should also be pretty cool.

Womens triple threat will likely be the highlight. The crowd should be hot for it as well which always helps. Rollins vs Lesnar I don't expect to go longer than 10 minutes, but I also expect it to be a good 10 minutes, as Lesnar is better against much smaller guys and Rollins is good. Kofi and Bryan as well, also due to I expect the fans to be hot for the match. I hope WWE doesn't try and be funny by having Kofi lose easily, as it has some real potential to be a classic with the quality of both guys and the crowd firmly behind Kofi all the way.

Sadly this is probably pretty accurate... It's going to be such a long event as they try and push as much people onto the card as possible. Best thing the fans in attendance can do is to not bother with the pre-show. For once I'm actually hoping that some of the lower matches on th card don't get much time at all, but I know that's a wasted hope. It'll be tiring watching it all from home, nevermind being in the actual crowd. Hopefully they have some stamina.

Crowd will also probably be cold once the sun goes down.

I may put in some thoughts on this incredible show sometime, when my wits are properly about me. And if I don't forget, heh.

Was a good show. Had some low points, but definitely a whole lot better than the past few years Manias. Although I'm glad I watched it the next morning so that I could skip way too fucking long opening segments.

Lesnar vs Rollins I was looking forward to and that was a disappointment. I'm not too bothered about it though, just surprised that it was over so quickly. Right decision with the match winner though.

Styles vs Orton didn't live up to what I hoped it would be, but it was still good. Both can do better though. Or at least Orton used to be able to.

Smackdown Tag Titles was also good, but I wish it had gone on 5 minutes more as with how they were going, an extra 5 minutes could have made this match great.

Miz vs McMahon was okay. I didn't realise it was falls count anywhere going into it, so that was nice and definitely needed for a Shane match. The finish was well done and didn't expect Shane to get the win.

Womens Tag Title match was a bit boring at times, but overall was okay.

The stand out match by far was Kofi vs Bryan. That was quality and the fans were really into it. I wa worried they'd cut this one short, but they gave them some good time. Was seriously a great match, this is the quality I want to be seeing at Mania. Obviously can't do every match like that as the fans would burn out, but if I get one of these matches I'm happy. It was a Wrestlemania match and moment.

US Title was short, but that was to be expected with reports of Rey being injured beforehand. What I liked though was that they seem to have changed the whole three arm drop thing. That used to annoy me. If someone can't stop their arm flopping to the mat, then they're out cold, so why would you not stop the match instead of trying it again? That's a change that has been needed (not sure when they started that, but it's a good change). Out cold, match is over. Ideal.

Reigns vs McIntyre wasn't one I expected much from. It gave Reigns a win on his first singles match since his return. Didn't expect anything else.

Cena should keep his Thuganomics theme tune, I forgot how much I liked that and it's so much better than his usual song. It had some funny moments in that segment as well.

Batista vs Triple H went on too long. It was an okay match in all, but if they'd shaved 5-10 minutes off it it would have been good. These are the kinds of matches that should be brutal and last around 15 minutes because of that. Not drag on to 25 minutes. So it was only okay because it dragged when there was no need for it.

Angle vs Corbin was what it was. Didn't expect Angle to win since WWE like having people retiring lose. Glad they kept it short and gave Angle the mic afterwards.

Lashley vs Balor was probably my least liked match and it was so short. Longer than the Lesnar match, but it somehow felt shorter. I wasn't excited about this match before hand as it's been a boring feud, so didn't care for this one.

Womens Title match was good. Rousey really looked sloppy at times though, but they all worked hard. The only thing I didn't like was the finish. It was a surprise as I didn't expect the ref to count to three there, and I wish it had a proper finishing sequence with Lynch using her finisher. But it was good overall.

Was an enjoyable PPV with some flaws which are to be expected. You would think talk should be of the Womens title match, but the standout one was by far the Bryan vs Kofi match which will likely be up there with any match of the year contenders. That's what people watch Wrestlemania for.

Kofi vs Daniel Bryan was by far the best match of the night. Was superb. I actually didn't expect Kofi to win either... I was thinking that Bryan's new belt can't have been cheap and that it would be the only screwy finish of the night. Glad I was wrong though. Was a great match with a surprise finish for me.

It was an enjoyable Mania I thought. Definitely one of their better ones.

This was one of my favourite Manias of all time. The only drawback for me was the fact it was so long. But there's hardly anything from this show I would have chosen to cut.

-Token "singer I've never heard of" singing the America song ... SKIP!

-Alexa Bliss opening the show and saying she could make a moment by clicking her fingers, then saying "don't believe me?", clicking her fingers and Hogan appearing was cool as hell. I don't care if it's Hogan, just the whole clicking fingers thing was cool.

-Heyman saying Brock isn't sticking around if he isn't main eventing was great, and the Uni title match was short but honestly, it's what everyone wanted. Did anyone really WANT to see a 20 minute Brock match? When he gets his big losses, they always come quick, it kinda works for him.

-Orton v Styles was good. Told a decent story with Orton trying to catch Styles with an RKO, but Styles came out on top. Nothing  groundbreaking but it was a fine match to continue the show.

-SD Tag Titles. I'm not really a fan of these fatal 4 way matches but this one had good action and I have no complaints with the winner.

-Shane McMahon vs The Miz was great. George's involvement was hilarious. When it got into the crowd, it really ramped up. Some great spots, and the final spot was awesome. Shane landing on top of Miz for a fluke win was also a perfect way to continue this feud.

-Another fatal 4 way tag. Don't like the stipulation, but I do like the winners. The Iiconics deserved this moment. They are one of the best acts in the WWE today.

-Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan is up there with my all time favourite Mania moments. Everything just felt so right. When Kofi finally got that win, goddammit, I've been waiting for that for years. I was emotional, not gonna lie. Superb stuff. That's what Mania is all about. Kofi Kingston deserves this more than anyone. And I love that it all came about by pure accident, almost as if it was fate.

-Joe vs Rey. Kept Joe strong. Protected injured Rey. Did it's job.

-Major disappointment was Roman v Drew. It just felt like a RAW match. Meh. NEXT.

-A little slow paced, but HHH v Batista I enjoyed very much. Felt old-school. Felt like the end of an era (HHH has had like six end of an era moments but I'll ignore that lol). Batista did a lot for this business and I for one am going to miss him.

-Baron Corbin vs Kurt Angle. Don't have a lot to say. Disappointed they had nothing more creative up their sleeve. Doesn't bother me that Kurt lost, but this didn't feel very "big". Let's not forget this is Kurt fucking Angle.

-Demon Finn squashed Lashley as expected. Cool. Next.

-Forgot to mention it earlier, so I'll do it here. Cena/Elias stuff was cool. Word Life Cena was a nice throwback and apparently Word Life Cena doesn't age.

-The main event was good. Becky, Ronda and Charlotte gave their all. It was at the end of a very long show, but the crowd were still pretty hot for it. The right woman won. We can argue if the finish was botched, but really, who cares? We all knew Becky was winning and she did. That's all we'll really remember.

Overall, it was a historic, enjoyable and definitelty too long show. Maybe my favourite Mania since 30. Really good stuff.
