Swansea City linked with Vitesse striker Wilfried Bony - reports BBC Sport
Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony has been linked with a possible move to join Swansea City.
Reports in the Netherlands suggest Swansea have made a bid for the 24-year-old Ivory Coast international, who is valued around the £10m mark.
Swansea's Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Everton are also reported to be interested in Bony.
Portuguese side Benfica and Russian outfit Anzhi are also thought to be admirers of the striker.
Meanwhile, Swansea are also understood to have had a bid accepted by Birmingham City for England Under-21 winger Nathan Redmond.
However, the Welsh club again face stiff opposition for the player's signature as Norwich City and Fulham have also met Birmingham's valuation, thought to be between £2m and £3m.
One thing that could work in Swansea's favour is that Birmingham need to strengthen their defence and are keen on taking Kyle Bartley on a season-long loan from the Liberty Stadium.

Sky Sports reporting that Juventus have agreed a deal with Manchester City for the sale of Tevez

Boo! I thought we were ok after Milan said they didn't want him. Now Mancini's gone I was hoping we'd see more of Tevez and Aguero up front. They were amazing when they got some game time together.

Swansea look the favourites to sign Shelvey from Liverpool... deal could be done in next 48hrs

Don't understand what happened to Shelvey. He was a quality youngster at Charlton. Always thought he'd come thru.
Have to add him to Robbie Keane as another good player Liverpool killed...
Everton have rejected an official bid from Manchester United for Leighton Baines

Swansea seem to be doing a decent job in the transfer market. We got Jose Canas on a free, defender Jordi Amat from Espanyol for 2.5m and they are breaking their transfer record according to his agent for Wilfried Bony for £10.2m - I don't know much about Amat, but Canas is very decent considering he was free and Wilfried Bony is a great player so I'd love to see him in a Swansea shirt. He scored 31 goals in 30 appearances last season. Swansea are also linked with Nathan Redmond although he could go to Everton.

Chelsea get one step closer to signing Edinson Carvani as they have apparently agreed personal terms

Swansea have agreed a £6m fee for Jonjo Shelvey with Liverpool. Honestly, I'm not pleased. I don't think Shelvey is anything special and he's certainly not worth £6m.
Swansea have also signed Alejandro Pozuelo from Real Betis for an undisclosed fee, and have also signed young duo Gregor Zabret and Alex Gogic.
Crystal Palace have signed Stephen Dobbie.

Strangely, after a flurry of bets, some bookmakers have closed the book and stopped taking bets on Luis Suarez joining Arsenal...
Not sure what to make of this with all his excuses of the English Press etc
All i know is that as soon as Suarez last month said he didnt know if he wanted to be at Liverpool or not... Fans started burning their Suarez shirts and he was never going to be welcome back at Liverpool by the die hard fans.

Suarez isn't going to Arsenal. He'll go to Real after they sell Higuain (and I don't think he's going to Arse either).
Rhys, Shelvey is class. He needs some nurturing and some games, but the boy can pass a ball, and will score goals. I think, in the right environment, he could be the closest young player to Lampard.
I don't think Cavani is going to Chelsea either. He'll stay in Italian football, probably with Napoli for another season, and then joining one of the Milan clubs.
Hey, I'm all for Shelvey proving me wrong.

Thiago has reportedly agreed a 5 year deal with Manchester United and all that remains is for David Moyes to agree to pay the £1m buyout clause in his contract
David Moyes has also insisted that Wayne Rooney is going nowhere.

Liverpool have rejected a £30m bid for Luis Suarez from Arsenal (An Arsenal club record bid)

Newcastle are being linked with Scott Sinclair today. Would be a good signing. Shouldn't have signed for City, but if it helps us sign him for less than what he'd have cost signing him from Swansea then it's all good.
He's a good player but City ruined him. He hasn't played regular football all season so whether he's gonna be rusty or not, who knows? But he'll have a better time at Newcastle, no doubt.

City's signings last year were ridiculous. I like Rodwell and everything, but what was the point of any of those guys? The benefit of all of them combined was negated by losing Johnson alone. Sinclair is a decent player, but is much better off getting out if he can.
Apparently Benteke has requested a transfer from Villa. I don't blame him.

Chelsea have signed Mark Schwarzer. Not going to play let's be honest, so it's a nice little pay day before he retires. Although at this age you'd think he'd want to be playing. Never mind aye?

Proof enough, I think...

Awh hell yeah. Swansea City have completed the club-record signing of Wilfried Bony from Dutch top-flight side Vitesse Arnhem for £12m.
This is going to be great.

Bayern have stole Thiago from under David Moyes nose for £21.6m

Man Utd have apparently had a bid of £25m turned down for Fabregas.
I think the press show favourtism to Spurs because they are the plucky underdog punching above their weight. Plus you never really hear about teams like your Fulhams, West Hams, Charltons and Palace's unless you have a reason to, for example QPR only got mentioned when they were fucking around with the trasnfer and getting relegated.
I agree Cas will be the number 1 for Spain, it's a guarantee every time they play. But there's a reason Mourinho dropped Cas this season and it wasn't because he hates real madrid and everythine associated with them (thought it might be). It's because Iker had a couple shockers.
Reports this morning are saying Chelsea have agreed a fee of £49.5 million for Cavani. Don't know what to make of it but watch this space.
