WWE tries to get internet talking - fails!

There was a scene during the last Raw when Kevin Owens and Kurt Angle were talking and in the back, an unidentified person was being wheeled in a stretcher by paramedics. WWE announcers ignored it but the cameras panned out in a clear attempt to catch the stretcher. This was reportedly a creative move to get "people talking on the internet" but it has seemed to prove a flop since either the audience missed it or they saw it and didn't care.

I find this particular piece of news hilarious. I haven't seen it yet as I'm not a bit behind on my watching, but can't wait to see this moment and laugh my ass off.

Which makes me wonder, have there been other times similar to this where they've tried to get people interested or talking with one little snippet like this and completely failed to get what they wanted out of it?

I don't get it. I don't get what WWE were trying to achieve, or why they thought it would work, or why they thought anyone would care, or how this even came about. Just seems like the most randomly pointless thing ever.

I know man, I just watched the scene and wouldn't have given it a second thought if I hadn't read about it first. No wonder it didn't garner any talk about it. It's probably got people talking now, but really not for any reason that they'd want, as it's more to laugh or question why they'd even bother with something so pointless.

They need to do something more obvious if they want people to start talking. Even having the announcers question who it was would have done it.

Hahaha, brilliant! I saw this episode/bit with Kurt and Owens, but most certainly didn't notice any of the background stuff. Way to fail at background buzz, 'E. Community you are not!
