Watch NXT. That's the "good" wrestling in 2018.
Also, Braun Strowman. He's amazing. I think part of it is that we saw him go from a green-as-shit lumbering buffoon to one of the legit top faces in the entire WWE. The transformation has been incredible to watch.

Hey I've been watching lots and lots and lots of wrestling lately on the interwebs, and am having a great time reliving my personal favorite years of 2002-2009 when I was watching Raw and Smackdown every week without fail. I'm also really enjoying watching lots of the Attitude Era that I had missed, and the few years after I stopped watching. I wish I had watched CM Punk's rise to the almost-top as it was happening, the whole Daniel Bryan thing, the last couple years of Edge... there's lots and lots of great stuff.
HOWEVER, I really struggle to sit through anything from like 2016 onward. Everything just feels so staged and forced. The art of believability seems to have been lost, and I rarely am able to lose myself in the story and just enjoy what I'm watching. An exception was the Triple H and Stephanie vs Kurt and Ronda Rousey match at Wrestlemania, I really got into that one. 🙂
I know everyone loves Braun Strowman, but I find him to be the worst of all. I watched the Greatest Royal Rumble match, and the end was fucking lame. After hanging out for like 10 minutes, he just picks up people and throws them out with ease. Like if you can just very easily pick up Bobby Lashley and drop him outside the ring, why the fuck didn't you do it 10 minutes ago when you first came into the ring? Matches and stories just always feel like everyone is reading a script. Maybe they should hire actors and teach them to wrestle instead of hiring wrestlers and trying to teach them how to act?
