Not played FM17 as much as I have previous years. Not that it's not enjoyable, just had other games to play that I've also enjoyed - other years I've struggles to find games that hold my attention as much as FM. Anyways... was Den Haag for a while and ended up winning the league comfortably season after season and once I won the Champions League I moved on to Newcastle. Couldn't turn down that opportunity. Few seasons with them and I'm regularly challenging for the title and the Champions League. Struggle with a striker who is either amazing or just doesn't get into the game at all, but he's English and when he's on form there's no stopping him, so struggle with wanting to drop him when he's being shit because you know that the next game could just be one where he bangs the goals in for fun.
My aim at the moment on it is to try and have a British core. Currently have 5 or 6 England internationals. A good young Scottish keeper. Spend most of my money snapping up young talent that I hope will be regular internationals soon enough. £27m on a 17 year old England midfielder and a season later he's turned out quite well. Not as good as I'd personally expect for £27m, but he's still young with plenty of room to improve.
The newest FM game I played was 15, but I own 14 so I mostly play it. I also own FM16 on Android but that's not really the same lol.
A thread for all the FM games. I know Benj plays.
I just finished my tenth season with Swansea, in FM14, and won the Premier League. I got this Chinese player called Liu Wei, who I'd been after for 3 seasons, and he scored 51 goals in 49 games, and 38 goals in 38 league games, a new record for Swansea, beating Cyril Pearce from 1933 with 35.
I also read the semi final of the Champions League. Losing to Arsenal 1-1 on away goals.
Building on this, some shots of the game showing some of my players/history.

Manager Stats
All Time Best Eleven since I started the save
Current Team (a lot of computer generated players)
Signed Cristiano Ronaldo at 36 years old. He had a decent first season, and a fantastic second season scoring 15 at the age of 38. Now his third season with me will be his last as he's retiring.
The chinese megastar Liu Wei who it took me 3 seasons to sign. As you can see it was worth the wait.
Gabriel Barbosa. Good player and I'm pretty sure he's a popular FM pick.
Jeison Murillo, who I signed when I first started and he has been a big part of the team since.

Since winning the Premier League with Swansea, I finished 3rd when defending the title and I finished 2nd last season (it came down to the very last game vs Man Utd, which I lost, and they won the league).
I did win the FA Cup in both seasons since winning the Premier League though and got to the Champions League final one of those years.
I also became manager of Italy for about two years, never lost a game until I lost in the World Cup final. Then, I resigned and was offered the Spain job shortly after - although I have yet to play my first Spain game.

FM15 - Into my eighth season managing Everton. When I took over, the team finished in 17th spot. Since then I have won the Premier League four seasons in a row, Champs Lge back-to-back, and numerous FA Cups, League Cups, Super Cups, Community Shields, and two World Club Champs. Looking to resign soon for a new challenge...
4w Poster of the Month - November 2005
Haha, I've seen people get those messages over the years, but never landed on that the 1st April in game when it's the same date in real life so never had it myself. I'd be so pissed at it as well.
