According to Ryback, during his Conversations with the Big Guy podcast, he was once scheduled to face Warrior at WrestleMania 30.

“Mark Carrano actually had showed me the WrestleMania card early. They kind of have an idea of what they want to do, obviously, ahead of time, and they had on it Ryback versus Ultimate Warrior. And I just said, ‘cool.’ But, in my head, at the time, it was during my heel deal, that first one, where it probably wasn’t gonna be a favorable position for me as far as all that. But I was excited, because I figured it was his one last moment in WWE. So, I thought it would be really cool. I didn’t think I would necessarily be the right guy for that, because I didn’t know anything about him. I didn’t know what kind of shape he was in, if he could wrestle or not, but I 100 percent would have done it, because I did everything that they asked me there.”

For some reason I never take Ryback's comments that serious.  It was probably an idea for like a hot minute then was scrapped. Imagine if they went through with that? Warrior probably would have died in the ring.

No way that is true. If ever we needed proof that Ryback talks shit, this is it.

It probably was an idea that lasted for a brief moment. We all know how many ideas are pitched around and stuff.

Ryback was also supposed to face a drug test, but he turned down that opponent.

WZ recently reported that Ryback stated on his Conversations with The Big Guy podcast that it was once scheduled for him to face the Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans, LA, the night after Warrior was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Ryback stated that Mark Carrano, Senior Director of Talent Relations, showed him the card early, and the match was booked.

Warrior’s widow, Dana, went to Twitter to deny the claims, stating, “Not true. It always saddens me when people tell untruths on a man’s grave to promote their lives. Do your OWN work.”

Ryback would tell Dana “hope all is well,” as well as retweet a fan who suggested that she listened to the podcast “before you believe the clickbait dirtsheet reports.” Interestingly, Ryback gave the time in the podcast when the discussion started, where he actually confirmed that the match was once scheduled.

Bahaha, cmon Ryback.

Haha, so Warrior's wife called him out on his bullshit, and his answer is to point out the time in the podcast where the discussion started. There's no way they'd have booked or even considered booking him in a match with anyone. He was mid fifties, and unless it was a quick squash of Ryback, there'd be no match. Ryback would have killed him with his finisher. I can imagine someone making a comment about having a match, but as a throwaway comment and nothing more. Cannot believe that anything was ever booked or taken seriously.
