If Matt owns it like he thinks he does, I'm sure they'd let him use the gimmick in WWE. Hopefully they wouldn't be stupid with it though and say something like split the profits whilst they're employed - because lets face it, WWE merchandising will make the Broken gimmick sell like mad.
About time. Not excited to see Jeff back if they accept, I just can't buy into him after his disgraceful behaviour with TNA, like turning up to a match completely smashed on drugs. Not cool at all, do them in your own time where you won't be putting other people in danger. Matt on the other hand I've always liked so would be happy to see him back even if he's completely crazy these days.

Yeah, but that incident got Jeff clean and hes been good ever since. He also went to every person on the TNA roster at that point and apologized to them. But yeah that was terrible thing to do.

In the recent Jeff Hardy interview, he was asked about being offered a contract by WWE:
“No, because you have to go through so much testing and all of that. It’s a long process. But, no. We know some people there and naturally after WrestleMania dies down, maybe a couple of months from now, we’ll see what’s possible. But there is no truth to that whatsoever.”
Naturally, people are jumping on the test part of that saying that basically Jeff wouldn't pass their drugs test and it'll take a few months to get it all out of his system.

'Course, Jeff would say that if he wanted to cast doubt on their Mania appearance. 😋

Well he had people questioning whether he would pass a drugs test or not and he clearly must have done. There's no way WWE wouldn't have done a test on him which his history. So working on the assumption that WWE must have done, good on Jeff. Would mean that he's been clean for at least a few months which is great to hear.
Also should put an end to the Broken Saga as WWE would have made them change otherwise and Matt is clearly still Broken Matt Hardy.

Jeff's been clean for a long time, more than a few months. Years, even.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE is working very closely with Matt Hardy’s wife, Reby Sky, aiding her in the lawsuit filed against her family by #ImpactWrestling, over the “Broken” gimmick.
Meltzer reported that, although WWE has no problem reverting Matt and Jeff back to their “Team Xtreme” personas, they don’t want to give Anthem Sports any money and are doing a lot help the Hardy’s win their case.
A user on Reddit, who was later backed up by Brian Alverez, reported that WWE might have found a loophole in the legal proceedings, as #TNA used the term “Charismatic Enigma” when Jeff was in their company, even though it was WWF/WWE owned.
WWE is trying to make a case that TNA profited off of a WWE registered trademark and might countersue, in order to get the case thrown out, thus giving the Matt and Jeff full rights to the entire “Broken Universe.”

EDIT: NEVERMIND. This story is now being reported as false.

I'd like to see themback in the WWE. I would hope they would be able to use the Broken gimmick too though.
