The Miz

The Miz is usually underrated. He's solid in the ring and good on the mic. Booking has let him down massively. He's also seemed to be missing something in the past few years, but that promo he did made people take notice. Maybe that was all he needed? Having Maryse back helps him out on a personal level as well, I'm sure, as he's looked better since she came back.

I'd like to see him hold on to the IC Title for a bit longer. What would be cool is if he made a point about wanting the attention that someone like Conor McGregor has gotten recently and wants to match it - even though there's been double title holders before. Would be fun to watch him try to win both belts at once. Not saying that he should win the WWE TItle, but he should go for it whilst the IC Champion. Maybe have him fail twice, then drop the IC Title and leave him in the top tier of wrestlers on Smackdown.

Miz is better than he's ever been but I still don't see him as a legit main eventer. He's stuck in that upper-mid card role for me at the moment, he needs a big feud with a main event guy to really propel him (which is not something I should be saying about someone who already main evented WM as world champion).

Definitely hoping he's the next WWE champ. They need to capitalize on this Daniel Bryan thing ASAP

I'm glad other people are finally feeling the love for The Miz.  I've always been a fan of the guy, but to me, this is really the best he's looked.  He's one of the best heels in the company right now.

The Miz has been AWWEEESOOOOOME!!! Don't usually like him as I'm not a fan of the character. I mean they should have hims start feuding with a guy anytime they are about to leave or come back from being part of a film. It's his spotlight, his attention and all that, that they are stealing. The writers could make him out to be so much more jealous than he is with easy ready made feuds based on something that is legit happening - a guy going of to be part of a film that the Miz isn't. Well, that's how I would have booked him up until that promo on Bryan which was spectacular and he's been on a role since. They likely won't capitalise on it though and he'll end up just being the boring mid carder that people don't like.

The Miz is continuing to impress. I'm thinking he needs another main event push soon. He has the talent for it and his mic work is exceptional. It's a shame the Universal Title is barely around and it's stuck on an absolute beast. Anyone else and they'd be able to have a great feud with the Miz... although Miz talking shit to Heyman would be fun. The Miz is getting to that stage where he needs another title run with a top belt imo.

I agree, I think he deserves a main event push. The last year hes been at the top of his game and one of the best people to watch on the show. Maryse has really helped his character progress and now he can be a legit top heel. I just don't really find much interest in Miz vs. Lesnar, I think it'll be a while. I wish they would have left him on Smackdown and done it there.

Dean Ambrose should have gone to Raw with The Miz and Maryse staying on SD.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it appears Maryse may be done with WWE for the time being. On Raw last night, Miz seemed to be aligning himself with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, and splitting up with Maryse.

If WWE chooses to go this route, the backstage report is that it is likely because they have Maria and Mike Kanellis as a couple on Smackdown now and don't want to repeat the same sort of characters on Raw as well.

However, it can't be doubted that once Maryse returned to WWE, Miz's character and storylines took off to a whole new level so it remains to be seen whether they really do pull the plug on this alliance.

Maryse has definitely been a huge factor in the Miz's resurgence. She somehow makes him up his game... probably down to him loving working with his wife.

Still... will be cool to see Axel and Dallas doing something as both are really not that bad. If they can keep up the good work with the Miz then I can see this working.

I don't want to see Maryse go at all. She's added to the Miz's character so much.. I don't see Bo and Curtis having the same effect. But we will see..
