ROUND THREE, MATCH FIVE
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past (SNES)
Round 1: defeated Super Castlevania IV
Round 2: defeated Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire and Contra
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System video game console. It is the third installment in The Legend of Zelda series. A Link to the Past uses a 3/4 top-down perspective similar to that of the original The Legend of Zelda, dropping the side scrolling elements of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Released to critical and commercial success, A Link to the Past was a landmark title for Nintendo and is widely considered today to be one of the greatest video games of all time. Over four million units of the game have been sold worldwide.
Tetris (NES)
Round 1: defeated Ninja Gaiden
Round 2: defeated Super Mario Kart
Tetris is a tile-matching puzzle video game, originally designed and programmed by Russian game designer Alexey Pajitnov. Nintendo released their version of Tetris for the NES, developed by Bullet-Proof Software like the Game Boy version. The NES version sold 8 million copies worldwide. Nintendo's NES version lacked the side-by-side 2-player option featured in Tengen's version. Nintendo Power reviewed this version in its November / December 1989 edition. The Classic Tetris World Championship commenced in 2010 and uses the NES version of Tetris.
