tough one... but i'm going with one of the most memorable games i've ever played and one of the very few i played with my entire family.
Super Mario Bros
Star Fox 64, although Mario is obviously good.

Welcome to the Greatest Nintendo Game of All Time contest, first round.
The matchups were randomly decided.
I will put the matches up every other day, and each round will be open for three days (so there'll probably be 2 or 3 matches taking place at any one time). I want to get through the first round as quickly as possible.
ROUND ONE, MATCH SIXTEEN
Super Mario Bros (NES)
Super Mario Bros. is a platform video game developed and published by Nintendo as a pseudo-sequel to the 1983 game, Mario Bros. In 2005, IGN's poll named the "pioneering" and "highly influential" title as the "greatest game of all time", considering it to have aided in resurrecting the crashed American video game market of the 1980s. The game has also sold enormously well, and was the best-selling game of all time for a single platform for approximately three decades at over 40 million units, until Nintendo's Wii Sports took that title.
Star Fox 64 (N64)
Star Fox 64 is a 3D scrolling shooter game themed around aircraft combat for the Nintendo 64 video game console. It is a reboot of the original Star Fox. The game received critical acclaim from reviewers and critics who praised its smooth animation, detailed visuals, voice acting, and use of multiple gameplay paths and is one of the top-selling games of 1997, second only to Mario Kart 64.
WHO WINS? YOU DECIDE.
