Doom because I don't like Zelda and it was a decent FPS for its time.

While I am a massive Zelda fan, I'm not gonna lie. I have fond memories of Doom so it gets my vote.
Oh man, tough call. Doom by a small margin.
Doom 64 wins 4-2.

Welcome to the Greatest Nintendo Game of All Time contest's third match in the first round.
The matchups were randomly decided.
I will put the matches up every other day, and each round will be open for three days (so there'll probably be 2 or 3 matches taking place at any one time). I want to get through the first round as quickly as possible.
ROUND ONE, MATCH THREE
Legend of Zelda (NES)
The Legend of Zelda, subtitled The Hyrule Fantasy in its original Japanese release, is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo and designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. Set in the fantasy land of Hyrule, the plot centers on a boy named Link, the playable protagonist, who aims to collect the eight fragments of the Triforce of Wisdom in order to rescue Princess Zelda from the antagonist, Ganon. During the course of the game, the player sees Link from a top-down perspective and must navigate him through the overworld and several dungeons, defeating enemies and finding secrets along the way. The Legend of Zelda was a bestseller for Nintendo, selling over 6.5 million copies. It is often featured in lists of games considered the greatest or most influential and is regarded as a spiritual forerunner of the role-playing video game genre.
Doom 64 (N64)
Doom 64 is a first-person shooter video game for the Nintendo 64 that was developed and published by Midway Games on March 31, 1997. It is a spin-off of the Doom series primarily developed by id Software. Doom 64 plays similarly to earlier games in the Doom series; the player must advance through 32 levels battling demons, collecting weapons and keys, and activating switches in order to reach the level's exit while surviving deadly ambushes and traps.
