The ever changing card.

Originally going to be headlined by Diaz v McGregor 2. Match cancelled after McGregor refused to do publicity for the fight, which was part of the contract, instead preferring to train for it non-stop.

So UFC pull forward another rematch that was scheduled for a later event. Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier. Huge fight, with Jones never losing his title in a fight and Cormier winning the vacant belt. And they seem to legit hate each other.

The UFC decide to make the event even bigger. Lesnar vs Mark Hunt is added, with Lesnar making a return after a long time away. Huge draw in himself.

The rest of the card looks good and all is shaping up to be a PPV that is worth of being the 200th.

Bantamweight    Miesha Tate (c) vs. Amanda Nunes
José Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar (for interim featherweight championship)
Cain Velasquez vs. Travis Browne

And now once again, the card has changed, with just two days to go. Too late to change the actual match, so instead it's been cancelled completely. Jones vs Cormier is off, as Jones has failed a drugs test.

The UFC organization was notified tonight that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Jon Jones of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on June 16, 2016.

USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case. It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full fair legal review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed.

However, because Jones was scheduled to compete against Daniel Cormier this coming Saturday, July 9 in Las Vegas, there is insufficient time for a full review before the scheduled bout and therefore the fight has been removed from the fight card. As a result, the three-round heavyweight bout between Brock Lesnar and Mark Hunt will become the UFC 200 main event.

Consistent with all previous potential anti-doping violations, additional information or UFC statements will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward.

Ticket refunds available upon request at primary point of purchase.

Lesnar vs Hunt now main events the card, but that just leaves three other matches on the main card, so it looks like a prelim match will have to be pulled forward to be the first match of the night to make up numbers.

This card was meant to be the biggest in UFC history and is just turning into a disaster. It's one problem after another it seems.

In a surprise, Cormier is going to fight on the card after all. Anderson Silva has accepted to fight him. It'll be a 3 round non-title fight and Lesnar's match will remain as the main event as advertised yesterday.

I think Tate vs Nunes is the main event now?

Jesus, could they move this card around any more? Lesnar is now in the main event. 1 day later, new main event. It's just a clusterfuck of a buildup for this card. Makes no sense to change it either - they should have just made the Tate vs Nunes fight the main event after they knew that they Jones vs Cormier fight was off. Makes sense to have a title fight on last.

The Cormier vs Silva fight is a bit dodgy to me. You don't want your champ losing to a guy that's been fighting in the weight class below you. And if Silva loses this could be it for him in the UFC. His last 4 fights have been loss, lose, no contest, loss. Still, should be a good fight. Oddly matched given the size differences, but Cormier would have had to deal with that against Jones anyway as he's just as lanky as Silva.

That wasn't bad at all. Can't believe how dead the crowd were for the first match. They wouldn't even show the crowd so they were still obviously finding their seats. Poor form for an event like this when doors would have been open for hours.

Silva didn't look bad for a guy that took a fight on just 48 hours notice. There's no way you can get your body fight ready in just 48 hours just like you can't constantly maintain a fight ready body, so good on him. Must have been tough. Hopefully not the end for him though with his current record, as he's still one of the best 3 fighters in recent memory.

Lesnar won so that was good. He looked so fucked come the end of the second round where neither guy did anything - to the point where neither actually won a point for the round. But showing them split-screen between the second and third rounds... Hunt looked like he was sitting down after a leisurely stroll, whilst Lesnar looked like he was sitting down after running a marathon. He gassed himself out in the first round controlling Hunt on the ground after a few takedowns. It can't be easy taking down someone of Hunts size, and Lesnar was picking him up to do so. Glad he won, but you could tell he's not used to this kind of fighting after 5 years out of it. Best part though is that he refused to comment on whether this was a one time deal, so we could see him again in UFC and in a bit better shape. He utilised his wrestling skills to perfection whilst avoiding getting knocked out, so great fight by Lesnar. Just a shame about that second round, but can forgive Lesnar wanting to get a breather in and Hunt wanting to avoid being taken down again two rounds in a row.

Only disappointment for the night was Tate losing. Didn't see that coming and especially didn't see it coming in the manner that it did. Dam.

Mark Hunt is turning out to be a whiny little bitch. Of the 8 tests that Lesnar had in a month, one has been flagged up as a potential offence. When you consider that you can fail for smoking weed, failing isn't always about steroid abuse or looking to enhance performances. Hunt though wants all of Lesnars $2.5m earnings for the fight or he's quitting UFC and he's calling Lesnar a cheat, without even knowing what it is Lesnar has potentially failed one for. Let's say it is cannabis... he's not a cheat as it's not a performance enhancer and doesn't make you bigger. And the key word is potentially. It'll take some time to actually find out what it is they've flagged up and it could be nothing (Sakho for Liverpool got pulled up for doping, causing him to miss the Europa League final and miss the Euros and he's just been cleared).

You can't call someone a cheat when you don't know what it is. You can't when it's just potentially. You can't take their earnings based on that. If I was Dana I'd tell him to fuck off and stop being a little bitch. I'd love it if the results come back okay just so that people can shove his cheating comments down his throat as he has nothing to base them on yet.

I know, it's hilarious. He needs to show some bloody professionalism because if it comes out that Lesnar is innocent then he's gonna be looking like a right moron.
