I hate people not doing what they say they are going to do.  If you tell me you're going to do it, then do it.  If you're not going to do it, then don't tell me you will.  I'd be much happier if people under promised and then over delivered, but most people have it the other way around and over promise and then under deliver.

People not making deadlines they set themselves! Not even deadlines, but when someone tells me "I'll be there by 8," I expect them to be there by 8. If you can't make it by 8, tell me you'll be there by 9. It's fine.

I get it at work all the time, where people book a room from 2-10 or whatever, then at 10 when I have to kick them out they say "We'll just be 15 minutes." If they wanted the room until 10:15, 10:30 or even 11, they can do that. It wouldn't be a problem.

Also, I really hate people saying "mental note," or "note to self," to be funny. If you're saying it aloud, it's not a mental note, or a note to yourself. It's nearly as bad as the classic, "did I say that out loud?"

Ha ha you'd probably hate me then. I'm always saying I'll be there at 8 and arriving at 8.20 lol.

I've always had a rule, as I can't stand people not being where they say on time - I wait 10 minutes, then I leave. I've done it with dates before. If they don't let me know that they're running late, or they tell me that they'll be more than 10 minutes late (either at the time, or just before), then I don't bother. Rearrange it for another time as I'm not waiting around.

These things may just be because I work around nightclubs a lot, but a couple things I really hate are:

Someone younger than me calling me "Son" or "Kid" it really boils my piss and they are very likely to get a nice remark back or I will ignore them completely until they learn some damn respect..

Another is when people come out of the clubs etc and want to shake my hand, they might think it is ignorant for me to refuse, but I have worked in and around nightclubs and hotels for 17 years and I have no interest in shaking peoples hands when there is a very good chance they haven't washed their hands.

I hate being called Son or Kid too. Also I hate being called buddy. Ever get called that? To me its disrespectful because the person thinks they are on a higher level than you.

How does calling someone buddy mean that they think they're on a higher level than you. Buddy is practically the same as saying mate.

It depends on the tone you say it. Maybe it is the culture difference between our two countries and you wouldn't get it. But say you are done with your shift at your job. Someone tells you, "Good job today buddy." They are talking down to you. Another example could be your friend sayings "We'll talk later buddy." Usually it means they think they are above you in a social stature. Even if they might not even realize it. People do alot of things because of the subconscious.

I don't like when people point at me, or if they refer to me as (enter name)'s friend. Like I don't have a name.

When people say "A whole nother".
When people swerve into the left lane before turning right. You aren't in a race car, you don't need to drift into my lane to turn the opposite direction.

People who mix up ie and eg. Actually, I've been seeing more and more people switching ie for AKA, which is even more frustrating.

It really grinds my gears when people tell me that American football is boring and then say that their sport is real football aka soccer 😉

People who don't read instructions, then ask you what to do.

Once a man would spend a week patiently waiting if he missed a stage coach, but now he rages if he misses the first section of a revolving door.

Yes exactly, one of the most annoying things ever. Similar to this, people who ask for help before even trying to do it themselves.

Another thing is when people 'don't want to hear excuses'. Well sorry Mr. Perfect but maybe it wasn't my fault because of something I have nothing to do with but you don't want to hear excuses and it's all my fault.

Lol that's so true, I didn't even think of this one. Although I gotta admit I've been guilty of it myself before
