Anyone here use an E-Cig? I use one, not one of those crappy disposable ones at the gas station though. I got a pretty cool set up. But I used it to quit smoking regular cigs and I must say it is alot better. Because for one it doesn't taste like shit lol. Hopefully my taste will improve soon and I will start feeling alot better. Ive read quite a few vapors feel ten times better after switching. I still crave a real cigarette every once in a while, I cave sometimes. But my co worker it took her about a month to quit cigarettes completely and just use the vape.

I thought you quit a while ago? Vaping still is a better alternative though, plus their are so many flavors lol

Just remember that if your charger breaks, spend the extra to get an official replacement for your own safety as most of the e-cigs that have exploded during charging have been using replacement chargers which people tend to go for the cheaper unofficial option with. Was the same with phones where the batteries exploded. Also don't keep them in your pockets if you get hot as they can explode too - my girlfriend would be useless with these (not that she smokes of anything) as she's like a bloody radiator, being in her pocket during the day would be like putting it in a toaster!

Don't go cheap, don't mod them. Going cheap and make this happen - cheaply made and the battery connections came lose - made a charge with something metallic in his pocket and went fricking nuts.

Anyway, apart from that... they're meant to be much better for you so good on you. Better for your lungs and all that. My best mate moved to them for a while and I loved it as I wasn't stinking of them when I got out of his car. A real shame that his wife wouldn't make the switch and he ended up going back to smoking as he couldn't deal with constantly seeing and smelling her smoking properly. Second time he's failed to quit because of her.

I probably did. I've stopped/started a lot. Longest I've gone is about 7 months without smoking.

I tend to go buy packs of cigs when I'm drinking, because the vape doesn't do it when I'm drinking. But I'm fine the rest of the time, I dont get it..

Yes! I do! And as of today, thanks to vaping, I am 264 days without cigarettes.

I remember I tried quitting with cig-a-likes a few years ago, but failed, because, as I know now, cig-a-likes are just awful. Patches or gum never did the job for me, never wanted to even give that Champix shit a chance... Then I discovered vaping. True vaping. I remember the night I first saw it, and the hours and hours of research I put into what I'd need for my first vape, and trying to understand all the lingo.

Started off with a simple starter kit, a couple of EGO batteries, and 2 tiny clearos. Then I discovered sub-ohm vaping with an Aspire Atlantis and an MVP 3, and it was like...

Fast forward from then, I've spent well over $1000 on different mods, tanks, RDAs, and juice. People will tell you that vaping is cheaper. Thing is, you gotta find your comfort zone first, which can be an expensive trip. Took me a month or so before I knew what I wanted from my vaping experience. And even then, I was still wanting to experiment with different shit.

Shitty thing for me, as an Australian vaper, I can't get my nic from any Australian vendor. It's illegal for them to sell nicotine in that form in Oz. So I buy my nic juice from the US. Mostly Mt Baker Vapor. Maybe some premium juice when I want to be fancy. It's also illegal, in my state, to own nic juice... So I'm surprised none of my shipments have been held at customs. Pretty sure no one cares.

Every mod I own is regulated. I looked into mech mods for a while there, but with regulated mods the way they are these days, there's really no point. Regulated mods are getting much more powerful as the months go on.

These days, I switch between an MVP 3 Pro, Sigelei 100, or an eSquare, sticking primarily with my Velocity RDA clone. As someone who claimed they'd never get into dripping when they first started, I am so glad I got into dripping. Making my own coils and wicks has turned out to be much cheaper than having to buy coils every couple of months. Plus, it is so much more flavourful.

I took me about a month after I started vaping to actually quit the cigarettes. But that's mostly because I used no-nic juice, because I didn't want to order from overseas. But as soon as I tried nic juice, I was off the cigs. It's all about that throat hit.

Sery, have you tried switching to stronger nic when you drink?

I got an Aspire Nautilus. I really enjoy it, they told me at the vape shop to start off with this cheaper Vape Pen. But that was like 50 bucks and they said I would end up wanting to upgrade to a better one anyways. So I just went out and got the best one or one of the best ones there, ended up paying alot more than 50 dollars. But might as well get the real deal right away. I have an iStick E Leaf box also. I'm not to sure about all of the lingo myself yet to be honest. But I am having fun trying new vape juices. Here you got to be careful, because they sell some ejuices at the gas station and they are absolute crap!

If you can, buy some juice online. Like I said, I used Mt Baker Vapor a lot. Cheap as chips, and they have a lot of awesome flavours.

Yeah I got some really good juice from a vapor shop, but the nearest one is about 45 minutes away. Online it is! If I'm going to do this I don't want crap. Just like when I smoked, I didn't want the cheap crappy cigarettes. I bought some coils online for my Aspire Nautilus and it came almost the next day! Sad thing though is that sometimes you get a dud coil in the packages. Also I don't get the whole cotton thing. Mine doesn't have anything like that. But I see all the youtube videos of people doing cotton wicks, so im confused as to why I don't have to do that.

Yeah, you'll get a few duds. One of the reasons why I went over to dripping, I have complete control over my vape experience.

Do you get BDC (bottom dual coil) or BVC (bottom vertical coil)? The BVC are the better ones to get for the Nautilus. They don't have cotton in them, they use a ceramic fiber as a wick. Non-toxic, perfectly safe, but not great for flavour.

If you want more YouTube videos, check out Vaping With Vic, he does videos about beginner shit. He doesn't sub-ohm, so it's more of what you're looking at at the moment. You also have guys like Rip Trippers, VapingWithTwisted420, The Vaping Bogan, who have a few videos for beginners.
