Newcastle are on a roll. Gotta get as many points on the board as possible in November tho, as December could be a bitch of a month.
Lol Chelsea.

YES!!!!! First team to beat them all season! Couldn't be happier, what a win for Newcastle. Bring on Arsenal next week!
Newcastle have had a massive turn around and now they just need to maintain decent form throughout the toughest part of the season. A win against Chelsea is a great start.
West Ham and Swansea should have a great game tomorrow. Obviously I'm hoping we can snatch an away win but I'd be happy with a draw.

Eesh. We didn't deserve that win. Many, many bad referee calls in our favour. I'll take it though, if it means closing the gap on Chelsea by another three points.

The referees in the Premier League really piss me off sometimes. No way should Fabianski have been sent off for being knocked over after Sakho got the ball forward with his arm. Hoping we appeal it and should be rescinded.
Regardless of that though, we weren't at our best defensively and West Ham played well. They deserved the win.

Yeah that was a harsh one. If he'd wiped the player out then maybe, but the player just smashed Fabianski out of the way, kept his composure and got a shot away at an empty goal. Good on the West Ham player for staying on his feet and going for it though - most players would have hit the deck. Deserves praise for that. The ref on the other hand got it wrong.
We were very lucky against Swansea. Eriksen is different class and ended up being the difference.
2 points behind arse and up to 7th. Hopefully we'll hit a little bit of form now...
Dicked all over City, the Gunners are back.

So Harry Redknapp has left QPR because he needs a knee operation. More like he knew they were going down, no new players brought in during the window and he wants to get out.

How is this not a red card? When they asked Mourinho about it post match he ran off.
Lambert's been sacked at Aston Villa. It's a difficult job because they won't spend the type of money they did under Martin O'Neill. I'm sure they were in this position a few years back where they relied on all of their youth players and put them in the first team.

Surprised Lambert lasted as long as he did to be honest. Bet they're regretting giving him a contract extension in September, cost them more to sack him than it would have done.
Ref's made some funny calls in the last round of games. Last night Janmaat totally took out Zaha with a crunching tackle and didn't touch the ball, ref just gives a foul. A few minutes later a Palace player runs past him and goes down really easily (as in Janmaat didn't actually touch him) near the corner flag and the ref booked him. The commentators picked up on it saying how soft the yellow was, yet some strong, late tackles from him and many other players before that were given nothing. Cabella got held onto, as in arms wrapped around him and knee up, to stop him running past - Cabella had his hands up screaming at the ref to say look what he's doing, and the ref played on, and the linesman right next to the incident didn't even flag... was the most blatant holding back I've seen all season.
The Ivanovic one was nuts as the ref booked McCarthy instead of Ivanovic, even though it was right in front of the ref.
Odd decisions all season from refs at time. No consistency at all, not even from one ref during one game, yet alone all refs.

The Swans are flying a bit low at the moment but I'm confident we can pick up our form in time. Our next game is home to United, and we can beat anyone at home on our best day, and after that we've got Burnley. Hopefully, we can get two wins and reach the 40 point mark, with 11 games to go.

Anyone see the Sakho rugby tackle on dembele? I know dembele went down easily, but how wasn't that a red card?
Mourinho usually likes a good moan, ut yesterday he really had a point and just shows how inconsistent refs are. I'm liking one of Figo's plans for FIFA Presidency as he wants to bring in video replays for when a ref isn't fully certain. Would be great and stop so much frustration.
Double over United for the first time ever. History for the Swans.
Monks gotten I think its 58 points in his first 38 league games in charge of the Swans. Hes done a superb job.

Some surprise results today. Villa beating Sunderland wasn't too much of a surprise, but the manner in which they won was. Before today, Villa had scored a total of 4 goals away from home, and by half time they'd doubled that tally as a lot of Sunderland fans walked out having seen enough. Surely Poyet is next in line for the sack?
The big one though was Burnley beating Man City. Very pleased for Burnley, I like them. Hoping that they can stay in the Premiership and this is a massive 3 points for them, moving them to just one point from safety. Depending on how results go next weekend, Burnley and Sunderland could swap places.
Well, Chelsea are champions, and deservedly so. They've been by far the best team in the league.
Relegated are QPR, Burnley and Hull.
Arsenal haven't beaten a team outside the bottom six this season.
And Swansea were great today. Dominated the first half and came back from 1-0 down. Fantastic start to the season for us.
