Well, it's been confirmed that we definitely won't have a Team GB representing males or females in Olympic football ever again, after the Welsh, Scottish and N.Ireland FA's have refused saying that the last time was a one-off.

I think it's a great shame myself and can't see what harm it would do at all to any of the four nations. It's extra exposure and game tournament time for some of the best young talent Britain produces. Good experience for a young manager as well.

Stupid decision. We should be using every opportunity in the Olympics to highlight football. And all sports, really. I agree it gives young british players invaluable experience on a grand stage.
