Another weird one is that the tags toolbar isn't available when you edit a post. Is that difficult to set up?

I hadn't noticed that one. That's easy enough to sort out though.

The tag one is possible too, I just haven't had the time to sit down and look through all the code yet.

Chux, I'm getting somewhere with the tag thing. Instead of removing any code, I'm working on installing a new toolbar and text area that will show changes that you make. So if you type in some text that you want to be green and select it as green, then it'll show as green in the text area as you type. That way you'll be able to see what it'll look like before you submit. You don't see any bbcode unless you want to.

I'm not going to beat a dead horse but its obvious we've got severe traffic problems here on 4W.

I've made a concerted effort over the past month to increase my posts/thread output. This isn't going to increase new members because they don't know we're here.

The only way to get to these members is through social media. We need Twitter & Facebook setting up. Then any new threads need to go through that.

New features or recycled ones could include the Caption Contest which was always a good one. Retro countdown features for each of the top 4 PPV's. Best Royal Rumbles, Top 5 WrestleMania moments, etc.

I was thinking about an email newsletter for all members to highlight top posts of the months, big show results, upcoming features.

Loads of stuff can be done, its just a case of who wants to do it...

I created a 4w facebook group a few years ago and I think I created a 4w page. I guess I could delete it and let you guys create a new one or just make you all admins on it. https://www.facebook.com/4w-forums-38321244689/?fref=ts the last time I did anything with it I guess was 2010, its pretty lame duck. But yeah the facebook thing would be good, but I'm not expert on how to get more people to like it. Plus to really build your page or get it known you either have to have alot of people sharing it seems or pay to promote the page. I run my family business' page and I have it to I think over 300 something likes. But only an outreach for each post getting to like only 60 people. I don't know why that is. I'm sure there is a class I could take on it. But I think I just need to post more often and be more interactive with people.

Cool ideas Rossman. I'll set up a Facebook page for the place, so if anyone wants to be an admin on it let me know - can post wrestling meme's, videos and links to posts on the forum. Should help and posting things like meme's is a good way to get page likes as people share them, which will hopefully mean more people seeing links to the forum on other posts.

I really dislike Twitter, so if someone wants to set that up by all means go for it - just don't do anything that would put people off coming here obviously.

Newsletter is something to consider as well... would need to think how that would be done.

Loving all the new posts on here recently, just a shame that people haven't been noticing them much.

I saw there is a 4w Facebook page. Not sure who's running it but it's loaded with your typical Smarky memes. I'm not sure about any other wrestling fans but it's the type of thing that makes me decide not to visit a forum.

What would make you visit a forum

It depends on what I see when I visit the forum. I'm just saying that there are a bunch, whether on Facebook or Twitter, that I've checked out, either because they've followed me or have come up on suggestions, that I've refused to go to their main page because it was filled with nothing but smarky memes. It turns off your casual or new fan and simply attracts your troll posters.

Since Benjawi made me an admin on the facebook page, I just spent $15 dollars to promote the site. Set the add campaign for three days. Hopefully we can get a new member or two out of it. But if you promote your web site, its kinda pricey per day. So I just did $5 a day, had some extra money laying around. Hopefully it brings some traffic up

I'd like that, too! It's rather frustrating, manually editing text colors for RPs - especially when writing multiple characters speaking!

I hate to be a pain.. but for 4CW and the GM Game now, the color button would make thins a whole heck of a lot easier and quicker.. Such a pain in the ass to manually do it. Can't we replace some of these other buttons with it?

I'm having some problems with subforums. When I'm in a subforum thread, the links let me back out to the home page or the subforum, but not the parent forum. That's kinda annoying. Also subforums don't display new posts, the icon never changes.

Not sure if those are things that can be changed, but would be big helps if they could.

I never noticed that as I barely go into any subforum... but yeah, that is weird. Will look at it. Although, I'm not sure how long breadcrumbs will be part of the forum software as there's a few changes being made to the next version which will make it better (imo). Never noticed the non-icon on new posts for subforums though... I'll keep an eye out for the next time someone posts in a subforum and see what's up.

Colour button wise, it's not at the top of my list of things to do... and if it's added it'd just add in the colour code and wouldn't be a colour picker. Can't guarantee more than that right now.

Anything that makes it easier to color lines of text.. If you've played the GM Game or 4CW you'd know we use alot of color lol.

Is there a reason why we don't have a colour picker? It's pretty common in most forums and just seems odd that it's not here, especially considering how much we use it in 4CW and GM Game, like Sery said.
