Tazz is a great #3 commentator. He's not #1 or #2 material, but with 2 other guys to actually work, he's funny as hell. Like Booker T on commentary. He's got the insight of being in the ring, and he knows the moves and philosophy of why X is doing what to Y, but he's just REALLY bad at vocalizing it. plus,, Taz zis like 5'2. lol.
I'd be fine with it. It opens up a spot for Matt Striker on the TNA table.
Taz is just the guy who yells loud things anytime something semi important happens. I don't mind him as he isn't any worse than some of the announcers we have seen before but I think the team of Cole, King, and JBL is great and unless they want Taz for the Main Event announce team, they should just walk away from this.
Matt Striker was really good. It showed that he was a huge fan before becomeing a wrestler and then an announcer. He could have been a great manager. o well.
If there were weight classes (and tazz didn't get broken), Tazz could have been HUGE in wwe. As an announcer,, he was a good third guy.
Taz was never going to make it big in WWE. He's too small. It's surprising enough that guys like Daniel Bryan are getting huge pushes but Taz's style was that is was this ass kicking suplex machine. I don't see Vince letting Taz suplex Big Show. Don't get me wrong, I think Taz was good in ECW but he was the beneficiary/victim of Paul Heyman's booking. He built Taz up so much in ECW and made him seem untouchable for so long that he was bound to be a let down anywhere he went. After the big debut win at the Rumble over Angle, Taz just flopped out. They weren't interested in pushing him and it was just downhill from there.
TNA has these One Night Only PPV specials that you can buy and they are pretty decent. But Taz takes away from it, he almost ruins the whole show! The commentary is terrible, seriously check it out, and you will have no choice to agree.

With Taz's contract set to expire this week and a cryptic message on twitter from the human suplex machine about a future Raw location in Brooklyn has led to talk of him returning to WWE... Jim Ross replied to a tweet about Taz rejoining WWE with the hashtag #Gullible
