Red Dead Redemption 2

A guy on YouTube did a great video essay kinda thing that was both humorous and relatable, I feel. It was all about the Rockatar model of gameplay being outdated and too rigid; a fun game, but incredibly structured l, linear fun in spite of its sandbox elements.

Now, with that all said. I don't have a PS4 or likewise and haven't personally played this game. I have, however, taken in just about every last thing in it by way of Youtube videos: Let's Plays, achievement hunting, having a laugh with ragdoll physics, etc. I know the story front to back and near everywhere inbetween. I love it. The main story, the characters, side missions, random encounters, casual elements, graphics, music and so on are all high-ranking for me. Incredible game and an incredible achievement. This is a Triple A game to which upcoming/future Triple A games will be compared. A flawed masterpiece, in my opinion.

Haha I think I know the one guy, or at least one of the guys, you are talking about. He would do certain missions and kill people and see how others react and things of that nature. Hilarious stuff, even though I did spoil some minor plots for myself. Oh well

I had some long ass day's the week this came out... i wanna say by the time i was in chapter 3 i decided to just plow right through the game and story, i had to know what happened.

It’s fun but super buggy. I tend to hit things and be launched from my horse a lot. And there’s a 75% if you run into another player (especially on a mission or something) they will open fire!
