WWE has resumed their long-term goal of creating a Performance Center in various parts of the world and then having regional promotions to basically serve as "feeder systems" to their worldwide promotion. There was interest from the company in doing this several years ago (believed at the time to be a Shane McMahon initiative) but after some lackluster crowds on a European tour, WWE abandoned the idea.
