Tottenham have blown it. They were pretty poor against West Ham. It was looking like the title race was going from predictable, to exciting. Now it's predictable again. Chelsea aren't going to lose it now. But hey, at least they've finished higher than Arsenal for once. That's something right?
I had a chuckle to myself though yesterday as I saw a load of Arsenal fans laughing saying thank you to West Ham. They're thanking one of their rivals for beating another of their rivals so that another of their rivals wins the title instead of a different rival. Makes sense right? 😋

Hull lost to Sunderland and Swansea are 1-0 up against Everton! There's hope yet!!

I'm surprised by the Hull result. Deserve to go down losing to them. Even though they had nothing to lose, they're such a poor squad that losing to them is just awful. Biggest result for Swansea which they need to capitalise on.
We did it! 1-0 win, fantastic performance, fighting for our lives! We're above the bottom 3, what a result. I still have chills.

Some good results yesterday and today. It's odd that there are still 2 teams to be relegated. Usually at this stage it's clear who is going down. Granted, tomorrow that will change as Middlesborough have Chelsea away. No way they're winning that and so that will be them down. If they can pull it off though, then we're in for one hell of a finish down the bottom half of the table.

So Middlesbrough are down. Currently losing 3-0 to Chelsea with 15 minutes left. Just leaves one team left to fill that final spot. More interesting than the now non-existent title race.
Huge, huge weekend for the Premier League.
Chelsea can win the title with a win. And if Swansea win and Hull fail to do so, then that's the relegation battle over. It's quite funny that it can all be decided this weekend. Only disappointing thing is that, with how the fixtures were laid out (because you can't know how things will go), Swansea are playing on Saturday and Hull are playing on Sunday. So Hull, who have to win anyway, will know the Swansea result before they play. There's no battle and watching both games at once which is always fun. But depending on how things go, we could get that next season.
I'm sure Rhys will be happy to have it all sorted come the end of Sunday though 😉

The title could be decided tonight. Chelsea Vs West Brom is the Friday game this week. All deciding games at both ends of the table are spread out.
And Chelsea are champions. Now we can move on to the relegation battle.
And Swansea are safe, Hull are down!! Woot woot!!

The race is on for who gets the Champions League places now. Nothing else of interest really.
I'm torn. I don't like Man City and will laugh my ass off if Pep fails to get Champions League football. Most overrated manager going. Managing Barca and Bayern is like managing Celtic. No challenge at all. Barca and Bayern are like 2 of the top 5 (maybe 3) teams in the world. So love seeing him being found out. And then there's Arsenal. I want to see their fans crying because for once they didn't finish in the top 4. The problem though would be that that means Man Utd would finish 4th. Better option than Man City and Arsenal though. Need a lot to go my way to be happy tho for City and Arsenal to drop enough points for Man Utd to take over.

What a final round of games.
Down the bottom, Swansea are the only team to have won and somehow finished the season in 15th place.
At the top, Chelsea won comfortably. Tottenham scored their 13th goal in 2 games, with Kane scoring 7 of those. And Arsenal finished outside the top 4 for the first time in 20 years as Liverpool won and took the final Champions League spot.
Good day for the league. Now the long wait for next season starts.
Urgh, I had a proper brain fart. For some reason I thought next weekend was the last weekend, but that's the other leagues - I've been too busy following Newcastle and Plymouth where next weekend is the last round of league matches.
So... that's actually better for Swansea, so I retract my statement that I think that might be it for them. Both have the shittest team to play, Tottenham will be tough for Hull as they could still be in the title hunt on the last game, and Palace are going to want to win to secure their status in the league. Everton are a tough one for Swansea, but Sunderland and West Brom are both beatable.
