Bit late in the season to start a thread but I guess the final ten matches will be discussion worthy.

Chelsea are running away with the title, ten points clear and probably are gonna win it. Tottenham have had a good season, sitting in 2nd place. Man City and Liverpool fill the remaining top 4 but Man Utd and Arsenal are not far behind in 5th and 6th respectively.

West Brom have had a good season and are sitting pretty in 8th.

There are only 13 points between 10th and 20th but realistically, only 15th and below are at serious risk of relegation. Those strugglers, in order are, champions Leicester, Crystal Palace, Swansea City and the relegation spots are currently filled by Hull, Middlesborough and Sunderland.

I think it's safe to assume Sunderland are going down. Other than that it's hard to say. Boro and Hull look like they don't have what it takes to survive, but Swansea are on the cusp of relegation and as a Swansea fan, I can say we are definitely not out of the woods yet. Our next game vs Boro is a six pointer if there ever was one.

There's a ton of matches between the 1st and 5th April, 2017:

April 1st
Liverpool v Everton
Burnley v Tottenham Hotspur
Chelsea v Crystal Palace
Hull City v West Ham United
Leicester City v Stoke City
Manchester United v West Bromwich Albion
Watford v Sunderland
Southampton v Bournemouth

April 2nd
Swansea City v Middlesbrough
Arsenal v Manchester City

April 4th
Burnley v Stoke City
Leicester City v Sunderland
Watford v West Bromwich Albion
Manchester United v Everton

April 5th
Arsenal v West Ham United
Hull City v Middlesbrough
Southampton v Crystal Palace
Swansea City v Tottenham Hotspur
Chelsea v Manchester City
Liverpool v Bournemouth

Glad that Sunderland look like they're finally going down. They've been the worst team in the Premiership for 5 years, somehow scrapping their way to safety with a game or two left. About time they went down.

I reckon Swansea have enough about them to stay up. It'll be Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Hull that go down. Chelsea have the title.

The interest at the moment comes with who gets in the top 4 as it's quite close up there.

Nice to see my boys Burnley will be safe for another season. Unless they have an absolute collapse, they're safe I'd say. Been a frustrating season though as we're like Liverpool. Play well against the bigger teams but struggle against the teams that we really should beat. Unfortunately we're not anywhere near as good as Liverpool so playing well against the big boys doesn't matter much and we really need to be taking points from the worst teams in the league, really open up a gap between them and us.

My point exactly. Swansea have been shit all season. Lost twice to them. Twice! I can give them the 3-2 because they have improved a bit with their new manager, but there's no excuse for the August defeat where you then went to on lose pretty much every game for months.

We lost 1-0 to Swansea. Then beat Liverpool.

We lost to Leicester who have been shit all season. But beat Everton who have done well all season.

We drew 0-0 with Sunderland in the cup, then beat Southampton in the league.

Lost to Watford, then drew with Chelsea. before losing to Lincon (a non-league team) and then drawing with Hull, who are shit.

Should have beat Liverpool and played really good football. Then turned to shit and drew with Sunderland.

It's so frustrating.

Welcome to being a Swansea fan lol. The last six years we've generally done well in the Premier League against top 6 teams but generally struggled with anyone lower.

Almost God like? Maybe...

Title race isn't over until the fat bird sings... Chelsea can still drop points against United and City, whilst Spurs should win every remaining game. Hoping more than anything tho...

Anyone seen Jek recently?  With a 9 point gap I'm happy to say St Tottering day won't happen this year.

Also, with their inept performance in the Champions League, they remain in our European shadow for another season. What are they going to crow about when we finish above them and they don't get top 4? I'm sure they are the only two things that matter to arse fans...

Wenger is losing the plot - maybe Arsenal fans have a point with him. They've been fined for starting the second half against Man City without a captain on the pitch.

"An Arsenal spokesperson told Sky Sports News HQ it is unclear whether there was a captain in the second half but Theo Walcott was the senior player on the pitch."

Wenger was asked about it this morning and he has no clue either. How can you not know who your captain would be? How can you sent a team out not knowing who the captain is?

First time I've ever seen this breach of FA rules and will probably be the only time.

I don't get it. Surely the captain for the first half is still the captain for the second half?

They subbed him at half time and didn't give the armband to anyone.

Sigh, Swansea lost 3-1 vs Spurs and 1-0 vs West Ham. Watford next and if we lose that I dunno what we're going to do.

It's down to two teams now I reckon. Swansea and Hull. The other 2 are down.

And if Tottenham don't finish above Arsenal this year then it's a travesty. It might be mathematically impossible already, but Tottenham are in great form at the moment. Think they could be real contenders next season if they can keep this going.

There's a slim chance they could win it this season. Unlikely I know but crazier things have happened.

If things stay as they are, with Man Utd beating Chelsea that leaves just 4 points between them and Tottenham. It's gone from looking like a foregone conclusion to we have a title race on our hands.

So Brighton and Newcastle are promoted from the Championship and will be in the Premier League next season.

Can't wait. Back where we belong, and with Rafa in charge there's some real belief that we won't be in trouble next season. Got a man in charge that knows what he is doing.

I pray we'll be there with you next season too.

Funny enough the only Premier League game I've gone to see was Swansea v Newcastle a couple years back. Finished 2-2.

Sunderland just ate a last minute goal from Bournemouth, seeing Sunderland relegated. Hull picked up a draw vs Southampton but if Swansea can beat Man Utd, we'll replace Hull outside of the relegation zone.

So glad Sunderland are down. Pickford put a tweet up last year laughing, saying "we're staying up, you're going down". Funny, we're going up, you're going down... And put in a pathetic attempt at staying up all season.

Can't see Swansea beating Man Utd, but if you do it'll be a good effort. Would rather Hull go down.

We have a history of beating Man Utd in recent seasons, so I'm hoping the habit continues.

We're staying up 😄

Had no doubt that we would anyway, but now it's finally mathmatically impossible for us to be relegated. Need to push on from here and sign a few good players.

Hopefully Swansea can join us. Still think Palace are going to be safe, so it's between Hull and Swansea for me. Middlesborough are down, they need too much to go their way and they don't have the scoring quyality to win their games.

1-1. Doesn't help either team. Although it's probably a better point for Swansea than is was Man Utd. Man Utd needed the win to try and get 4th to get back into the Champions League. Swansea needed it to step out of the relegation zone.

As things stand, Swansea are 2 points away, and if they win the next game and Hull don't win, then Swansea are staying up as their goal difference is slightly better than Hulls... so if Hull draw and Swansea win, Swansea stay up on goal difference which would be so harsh on Hull, but that's how tight it is down there.

Unfortunately for Swansea, Hulls last game is against the worst team in the Prem who are already relegated. Think this is it for Swansea.

The final three games for both teams:

Swansea
Everton (H)
Sunderland ( A)
West Brom (H)

Hull
Sunderland (H)
Crystal Palace ( A)
Tottenham (H)

So Sunderland is their next game, not their last game, and we have Sunderland too. And if we're still 2 points behind on the last game of the season, I fancy us to beat West Brom more than Hull to beat Spurs. So it ain't over by a long shot.
