And finally, WWE still do the best video packages around. I hope the people that do those are paid well because they bloody well deserve to be.
Have to just quote this for truth. WWE can make an average feud look amazing with their video packages.

What was the Match of the Night in your opinion?

Watching it all again with my mate. Fast forwarding a load of shit though. The AJ Styles match was better than I remember. Still would have been better as a no DQ match though.
Owens and Jericho was better than I thought. Still didn't live up to what I hoped it would, hence my disappointment. Probably joint match of the night with AJ and Shane and neither hit 4 stars.
I didn't realise how loud that pop was for the Hardy's. Man, must have been brilliant being there for that. A proper Wrestlemania moment for the fans.
The end to the Triple H match was great. The reply of how Triple H bumped into Steph was quite funny. Not usually a fan of bumps like that, but it was well done.
Thankfully this time I got to skip that Pitbull shit. Don't know who he is and don't care either. Not in the slightest.
Still, was miles better than last year's and still better than quite a few from recent years. Just a shame there was no stand out match. Nothing you could call over 4 stars is just disappointing. Some cool and pretty great moments though, which is what WWE seem to go for at Mania these days.

Agree with the no match over 4 stars thing. A shame really... wasn't a bad Mania at all. Some poor matches, some good matches and some really fun moments. If at least one match had really stood as being great out it then I'd happily class it as a good Mania. They had the ingredients for it and were close.
The best was probably AJ vs Shane. Went about 5 minutes too long though. A few did really - they could have knocked 5 minutes of this one, 5 off Triple H/Rollins and maybe a few from another and then they could have fitted the Cruiserweight Title match on the main card and actually given the Smackdown Tag Titles a match even if it is just on the pre-show.
Smackdown titles didn't deserve a spot on the card... nobody want's to see the Uso's vs the entire roster of teams.. or any of those shit teams to be honest.

So it would be perfect for the pre-show. No one cares for it, but I've seen loads that wanted the Cruiserweights on the main card. So shit match on the pre-show that no one cares about and make room for one that people do.
I guess there was going to be a 6 man cruiser match at somepoint they had told a few of the guys on the roster they would be on the show for WM... that kind of sucks, i'd be upset a little bit if i was those guys.
I'd give it a C. Definitely better than quite a few previous Manias, but once again not a Mania that will live long in the memory, apart from maybe the final scene of Taker leaving.
Bray losing was complete bull shit. I expected a better match as both are quite good, but it was mediocre topped off with Bray losing on his first defence of the title. Absolute bollocks. A win would have cemented him in the main event and after they had him pin Cena and AJ in the Elimination Chamber I thought they might do it. Instead he has a title run that is incredibly short and will not be remembered topped off with a mediocre match.
I was surprised when Cena proposed as I didn't think he was interested in anything like that from what he's said before. Then I quickly realised that I didn't care in the slightest. Nice that he's changed his mind as she clearly wanted that, but would rather they did it on Total Bellas or something. Allowed me to go and make a nice cup of coffee though without feeling like I missed anything so there's that bright-side.
Goldberg and Lesnar. I'm glad it was better than their last "match". And after weeks of making Lesnar look weak as a hydrated persons piss, they were back to making him look strong. When Goldberg hit the Jackhammer I was getting ready to riot, which would have caused a few raised eyebrows in my street, so was surprised to see Lesnar kick out. I actually preferred their last Mania match as both were more in their prime than they are now, even if the fans did shit all over it, but for what this match was it was good. Can't complain and I totally brought into that near fall.
Was really looking forward to Jericho and Owens and they didn't deliver. Happens every year though that the one match which should be a classic just doesn't happen. Yet I'm sure if they had a match on any other PPV they'd book it so that it was a classic. Don't get why they can't do that for Mania. It's that or they just don't click, which would be a surprise but we've seen it happen with others who you would think would match up well.
Was great to see the Hardys return. I won't lie, I brought into Jeffs comments the other day. Legit thought that he wouldn't pass a drugs test like people thought he was hinting at. Like I wrote in that thread, he must have had one and passed so good on him. Happy to see them back and because I brought into Jeffs comments it was a read surprise which was nice. Not sure I would have booked them in a match as surprise entrants, as I'd rather they came down and beat the shit out of the champions after the match and declared that they wanted them so they were taking them. Something like that. But who cares? They're back and they won and it's great to see them back in WWE where they belong.
Couldn't get into the Taker and Reigns match. Sad that Taker has clearly retired though. If they turn Reigns heel because of this, and really they should because fans are going to blame him for retiring Taker (because you know, it's real god dammit 😋). A heel turn would be great for him and makes the whole thing worth it.
Triple H vs Rollins was good. I still think Triple H is one of the best around even though he's got to be classed as more than semi-retired, he wrestles that little.
