Debut: not yet
Bio: Phil McGroin is a Cornish wrestler modelled after Jamie Noble. He's yet to make his professional debut but has wrestled all over Cornwall in non-professional bouts and has signed his first major contract with 4CW where he expects he will have to travel a lot as he still has his farm to look after, so really can't move full time out of Cornwall. He loves his chickens too much to leave them for more than a weekend.
Heel/Tweener/Face: tweener
Previous Feuds: none
Finishing Moves:
Eggcution DDT (think edgecution DDT)
Eggcutor submission (think Edgecutor submission)
I like Edges finishers when he's not bear-hugging people.
Signature Moves:
swinging neck breaker
moonsault
fisherman's suplex
Other Moves:
360 splash
dropkick
clothesline
snap suplex
t-bone suplex

Entrance Music: Numb - Linkin Park
Full Entrance: Casually stroll down to the ring, chin up ignoring all the fans. They boo, they cheer, no one can decide whether they really like him, but McGroin doesn't care as he's above everyone despite only being 5 foot 7. He takes the steps, climbs through the middle rope and demands that the ring announcer tells everyone who he is - "Phil McGroin, the man who once made a cow tap out".
Accomplishments: Once made a cow tap out.

Good to see you back eastdog! Write a seg for the next show if you want, but failing that, I'll get you on the card for the March show.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
So how does all this work? Is there a guide anywhere?
Last edited by Ninjak_XO (Thu-9-Feb-2017 09:31:40)

In essence, for this show youy can write yourself a backstage segment of any kind, be it an interview a social interaction with staff/roster or even an assault if you really want, though if you try it on one of the main player characters, you may be in for a beating yourself! :-P After that, have a read of what we've put up already with regards to shows and rp's and figure out what you want to do with your character and how you want to develop him :-)
4CW Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Triple Crown Champion 2020. 2 times Universal, 2 times Tag team and 1 Time World Heavyweight Champion.
Wrestler of the Year 2017, Champion of the Year 2017, Most Improved 2017
So I just RP and develop my character through that. Okay. I've seen the thread with the guidelines for RPing so will work within those.
How are the match ups made?
What determines who wins? Is it quality of posts around the forum? Agreed between the people feuding? Head booker decides?
As someone new to this I definitely feel there needs to be a thread explaining everything as I'm sure all efeds are run differently. Would be quite handy, especially for if anyone new joins and wants to get involved.

The matches are made up by the booker, in this case Rhys. I guess if you wanted a full on feud you'd chat about it with your opponent and let the booker know so he can book the matches accordingly. You and your opponent would then come up with segs for the show that help develop your feud. Just look back on the last couple of shows with Supreme and Sery, or with White and Rhys Cain towards the end of the tournament.
As for who wins the matches, well, currently that's decided by an adjudicator, Benjawi I think, or at least he was doing it. He'll essentially read through your RPs and decide which one he likes best and again, let the booker know. I guess if you are in a feud and already have the feud planned out, including win/loss ratios with the exception of the final fight, then let Rhys know and he'll incorporate that when handing out the match writing assignments.
The main thing is to enjoy developing your character, seeing what feuds you can come up with and telling exciting and compelling stories with everyone.

Wrestler of the Year 2017, Champion of the Year 2017, Most Improved 2017
Gorgrim pretty much covered it all pretty sweetly, I'll just clarify a few things:
-The cards are planned by myself and the feuds are planned by either myself or, if you and someone want to feud, then let me know and I can make it work for the show. Basically, I will fill in the gaps where people don't do it themselves.
-If I am not involved in the match, I will judge the matches and decide the winner. Winners are decided solely on the quality of the RP OR if you have a planned feud with someone, you can pick who wins or loses between yourselves, let me know, I'll make it work. If I am involved in the match, I will get an independent adjudicator to decide who wins (there is no set person, but it'll be a neutral person).
If you have any more specific questions, just let me know, I'll do my best to answer.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Cool, thanks guys.

Entrance Music:
- "A Cut Above" by Avery Watts ( 2012 - present )
- "The Final Countdown" by Europe (2007 - 2012 )
Full Entrance
The sound of some sort of firearm cocking is heard and after a moments pause it's followed by the sound of a shot fired. "A Cut Above" by Avery Watts blares on the PA System as the lights dim into near darkness. A thin mist rolls over the stage and ramp area as smoke billows from the four corners of the stage.
" Ladies and gentlemen! Introducing, the best of the beeeeeeeest... aaaa-eee-HERE'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE ( LOOKS LIKE! ), BEING THE BEST! WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE, TO BE A CUT ABOVE THE REST! "
Suddenly a stoplight illuminates a previously unseen figure on the stage, standing with his back to the crowd. He raises one hand, digits folded into a fingergun with his pointer and middle fingers as the barrel, and his thumb as the hammer. Pointing high into the sky, he folds his thumb against his pointer fingers suddenly, 'firing' the gun as pyrotechnics explode around the stage.

Bang Roivas twirls on his heels to face the crowd, strutting forward and paying no mind to the leftover sparks from his pyro bouncing off his chest and shoulders with the EGO World Championship on his waist. He leisurely makes his way to the ring, somehow managing to chew gum and also deal with the toothpick between his lips as he looks at the crowd through his shades. His expression goes from neutral to the occasional smirk as he goes, depending on how he feels.

Carson: Making his way to the ring, hailing from Paradise City in Parts Unknown, standing at six-foot-two and weighing in at two-hundred and twenty-six pounds, "THE EGO" BAAAAAAAAAAAAANG ROOOOIIIIIIVAAAAS!
Eventually reaching the ringside area, he plucks the toothpick from his mouth and tosses it high into the air, and it lands somewhere in the fans; probably in some unlucky ( or lucky depending on how you see it ) fan's drink. Stepping over to the ring steps, he spits out his gum on the ringside floor before jogging up them and stepping onto the apron. Standing there on the apron, he gloves the fans another shot of his fingergun pose before putting his other hand on the top rope and, pulling back, umping and using the momentum to launch himself into the ring. he lands on his feet in the ring and quickly takes his shades off and places them in the pocket of his leather jacket, which he hangs on the ringpost along with his EGO World Championship. Climbing the ropes Bang takes a seat on the top turnbuckle and, beckoning a member of the ringside staff over, demands a water bottle which he is promptly supplied with. bang relaxes and drinks from the bottle as he waits for the match to begin.
Accomplishments:
2x ACCW Intercontinental Champion
4x ACCW Tag Team Champions ( with various )
3x XNYW Hell's Kitchen Champion
1x XNYW Manahttan Champion
1x EGO Ascension Champion ( vacated )
1x EGO World Champion ( first and last )

Height: 6’1”
Weight: 240 lbs.
D.O.B.: 10/30/81
Hometown: Supremeville, USA
Resides: Supremeville, USA
Trainer: Self-taught
Previous Feds: 4CW
Debut: I wanna say sometime back in like ‘05ish?
Bio: I could carry on with a long account about the history of Supreme, but here’s the basics that you need to know. Supreme enter 4CW in an attempt to achieve his life long goal of being a pro wrestler, and later as we found out, to calm the rising tide of hatred inside of him. As we discovered very quickly in the first ever Hard Knocks Life match, that did not work out the way it was supposed too. Supreme was the second ever 4CW Heavyweight Champion. He’s also been a 2 time Custom Cup Champion, tag champion, and was inducted into the 4CW Hall of Fame. However, he just couldn’t stay away from the business that he loves. When it comes to running factions, few have been able to do as a good of a job as Supreme either. When you think of greatest stable of all time, High Society is always at the top of that list. Now, as Supreme continues his run in 4CW he is hoping to gain that spot at the top once again.
Heel
Previous Feuds: [chux], Sery, Mike Nichols, Fish, damn near the entire roster. LOL!
Finishing moves: Supreme Impact (Masato Tanaka’s Diamond Dust)
Supreme Demise (Texas Cloverleaf)
Signature Moves: Supreme Compromise (Fisherman Suplex into a bridge)
Supreme annoyance (roaring elbow)
Other Moves: Supreme is a technical wrestle, take the wrestling skills of a Dean Malenko or a Fit Finlay, but then add in the suplexing brilliance of a Taz. If you have any more quandaries from there, please feel free to ask.
Entrance Music: Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold
Full Entrance: The lights in the arena turn to black as the mellow beginings of nightmare start to play over the P.A. system. As each ping of the opening instrumentals pierce through the arena, small flashes of lights are triggered one after the other, each on representing a note of the song. As the drums kick in hot and heavy, the flights all flash bright in a rapid motion then die out again. This keeps up with each beat of the drum. As the word nightmare rips through the awaiting crowd, the lights come on full blast and Supreme is standing at the top of the entry way, arms stretched out in anticipation of the boos from the crowd. He saunters down to the ring as the song continues to play.
Announer:Hailing from Supremeville, USA, he wants to be refereed to as The Best Damn thing to ever happen to Pro Wrestling, he is a former 2x Custom Cup Champion, Former Tag Team Champion, Former 4CW World Heavyweight Champion, and current Hall of Famer, Ladies and Gentlemen welcome … SUPREME!!!!!

Status: Face
Previous Feuds: Alexandre, Eddie Wolfbaine, Chris Drake
Finishing Moves - Impact: Divine Intervention (The attacker holds the opponent in a piledriver position, cradling it, and then lifts the opponent up, before driving the opponent’s back and neck hard to the mat with a modified fall-forward powerbomb. Can also be used as a throw-down move on smaller opponents, or ended in a seated/kneeling/whatever position)
KTFO (The opponent is placed in a double underhook position, then lifted into the air like a Pedigree, but the attacker then throws his knee up into the opponent's face just as he reaches the apex of the lift)
The Otherside (The opponent is placed in a three-quarter bulldog face lock, before being spun into a falling reverse DDT)
Howling Superkick (The attacker faces his side to the opponent, then pivots on his feet, throwing a spinning superkick up under the chin of the victim)
Finishing Moves - Submission: King's Cross (Standing over the opponent's prone body while facing their legs, the attacker reaches down and lifts both of their legs into the air. After bending the opponent’s left leg over the attacker’s left arm, the opponent's right leg is then brought over their left leg, bending it over the shin. The attacker places his right arm under the ankle of the opponent’s left leg, wrapping it over the opponent’s right shin, before turning over into a reverse Texas cloverleaf)
Hail To The Lord (A full nelson while in the camel clutch position)
Finishing Moves - Rarities: Decareerifier (Fisherman’s suplex set up to snap double-arm brainbuster)
Dragon Driver (The opponent is lifted into a torture rack position, with the attacker reaching back to hook the opponent’s far arm rather than his neck, leaving the victim lying flat on his back over the attacker’s shoulders, with one arm hooked under one of the attacker’s, the other arm around the attacker’s neck, and a cradle locked in between his legs. The attacker then drops to the side in a DVD-esque movement, driving the opponent down onto the back of his neck)
Signature Moves: Twisted Intentions (Double-arm swinging DDT)
Elevator Kicks (Kick to leg, then midsection, and finally head)
Crossover Crab (The opponent’s legs are crossed in an ‘X’ with the left leg under the attacker’s left arm, and the right leg under the attacker’s right arm, before being turned over)
Total Domination (The attacker lifts the victim into the air, connecting with one piledriver, then allows the victim to drop to one side while following and still maintaining the body lock, repeating the process for several more)
Blackout (The victim is placed over the attacker’s shoulders in a fireman’s carry, then thrown into the air for a high-angle DVD, but the attacker turns his body with the opponent’s and catches the victim with a modified powerslam on the way down)
Other Moves: Hip Toss To Ace Crusher (The opponent is lifted into the air via a hip toss, but, before they’re spun over, the attacker drives them down with an elevated ace crusher)
Tilt-A-Whirl Tombstone Piledriver
Kneeling Neckbreaker
Various Lariats
Kneeling Piledriver
Moonsault
Enzuigiri
Spinning Back Kick
Gutwrench Sidewalk Slam
Entrance Music: "A Warrior's Call" - Volbeat
The lights begin to slowly dim, while the familiar sound of drums overtakes the arena. A hum precedes the lights fully turning off, before Volbeat's "A Warrior's Call" completely starts up, and the words "The Lord of the Ring" flash on the 4CWtron just as "Let's get ready to rumble!" echoes throughout the arena. The fans come to their feet as the single ding from the ring bell prompts a quick explosion of pyro, bringing the lights back on and the man known as Lord Skywolf onto the stage. Taking a moment to look over the crowd, he nods to himself, then raises a fist in the air, prompting one more round of pyro before beginning his walk to the ring. He cracks his neck a few times while walking down the ramp, then deftly pulls himself up onto the ring apron, looking out to the crowd again, before stepping through the ropes and climbing the nearest corner, standing on the middle turnbuckle with his arms in a crucifix pose.

Ring Attire: Combat Trousers and Boots with Sleeveless Jacket
Height:6'8''
Weight: 400 lb
Hometown: Barry - South Wales
Bio: Brought up in a tough neighbourhood in South Wales, Brian White always had to fight for what he wanted. In his late teens Brian's large size and formidable strength got him noticed by local dockworkers and despite his tendency to avoid conflict, he was 'invited' to take part in illegal bare knuckle fights where an aggressive streak was coaxed out with regular threats and beatings to the point when he accidentally broke the neck of one of his opponents. Since this time the Fright Train, as he became known, began dominating fights both in and out of the ring, rolling over anyone foolish enough to get in his way.
Heel/Tweener/Face More of a heel to tweener
Finishing Moves: Runaway train - high impact spear with theatrics (cupping his hands and shouting woo woo before lowering his stance and smacking his rear foot to the mat, speeding up until he launches the move)

Entrance Music: Wherever I may Roam - Yashin (cover version)
Full Entrance
Music starts as lights are lowered until music drops, then as music punches back up pyros go off and a video package showing Brian strength and abilities shows interspersed with a steam train running at full tilt along it's tracks. Brian White and Tommy Young make their entrance, focused on the ring (if empty) or his opponent(s) if they are already in the ring. White ignores the crowed as he deliberately walks to the ring, stepping over the ropes, and music fades. Tommy saunters down with a smirk, ignoring the crowd the same as White, but stays on the outside of the ring.

Hometown: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Debut: 2001
Bio: Has a light southern New Orleans drawl, although if you ask him where he's from and he doesn't beat you to a pulp, he'll tell you Wisconsin. Was previously married to Lillian Garcia and has history with Lita too. Starting his wrestling career in 2001, he's known for his bullying backstage in many promotions (some have even stopped booking him). He has in the past pulled feisty fans (who tried to tag him on his way down to the ring) over the rail and dealt his own form of what he calls "teaching respect" and has had to pay up in court many a time, which he does gladly. A mean son of a bitch, he even destroyed an old foe's supercar because of a feud stemming from in-ring action. He's also been known to smoke weed while in the ring, something a lot of promotions have been trying for years to get him to stop doing, claiming it's illegal to which he always tells them "call the cops, then." He has also gained somewhat of a reputation in Hell in a Cell matches as a brutal and merciless opponent.

Entrance Music:
Am I Savage? by Metallica (2018-)
Human by Rag'n'bone Man (2017)
Full Entrance:
"Am I Savage?" by Metallica hits the PA system. Boos break out for the arrival of the man known as Glock 9, black trench coat and all.
Carson: On his way to the ring, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he stands at 6'6, and he is known as... GLOCK NINE!!
Glock 9 makes his way confidently down to the ring. He sneers at the fans as he passes, making sure none of them can reach him. He takes his time as he strolls up to the ropes, does the leg-over climb into the ring, takes off his trench coat, walks a few paces around, then leans on the ropes and beckons for his opponents. While he waits, he shouts some unintelligable venom to the most rucous of the front row.
Accomplishments:
Former Champion. Promotion doesn't matter. Call him a liar, he dares you.

Pilgrim Paige (all 3 faction members)
Faction finishers:
Hex Omega - All members of The Coven position a grounded opponent in the center of the ring and ascend three separate turnbuckles, with Tsukiko and Paige always opposite each other. They all bow their heads for a moment, breathe deeply and then simultaneously all leap from the top rope, with Tsukiko and Paige landing the double frog splash (Paige to chest/ribs; Tsukiko to thighs/legs) at the same time Hazel hits a diving headbutt to the sternum. If this move is performed in a No-DQ match or as post-match vengeance, Hazel will wear her horned crown for the headbutt.
Triple Goddess - Paige and Tsukiko raise an opponent into a dual Argentine backbreaker rack, while Hazel hooks the neck. All three women simultaneously sit-out, resulting in a combination Argentine backbreaker and hangman's neckbreaker.
Faction signature move:
Mistical Mania - triple poison mist from Paige (purple), Hazel (silver) and Tsukiko (blue), leaving the opponent blinded and writhing on the mat.
**In some scenarios, this attack would serve as a precursor to Hex Omega**
Faction entrance music:
"Heavy Lies the Crown" by Draconian
Faction entrance:
The arena lights go out, as well as the 4CWTron, leaving everything in pitch black. A thick layer of purple fog begins to envelope the stage and ramp. Through the haze, at center stage, three colored flames—bluish-green (stage right), violet (center stage) and silver-white (stage left)—flicker in mid-air, providing a moment's glance of three women's pale faces. Suddenly, the flames go out. The crowd buzzes in anticipation. Where the flames had just been, three fireworks, with matching their respective former flames, ascend out of the darkness and explode overhead, creating a huge triple-starburst pattern. The crowd pops. Dim lighting goes up as the opening lines of "Heavy Lies the Crown" by Draconian sound out over the PA system. Tsukiko Mizuno, Pilgrim Paige and Witch Hazel appear through the fog, wearing their long black coats and personal effects. The 4CWtron shows dark, stylized clips of the three women in various settings: engaging in a ritual in the Moontower; walking along a wide forest path lit by torches, etc. They begin descending the ramp slowly together, then Paige and Tsukiko quicken their stride and play the the crowd a little as the song's intro gives way to a hard-hitting doom metal dirge. Hazel maintains her leisurely pace through the fog and keeps her eyes forward, in trance-like focus.
Carson: Making their way to the ring, at a total combined weight of 394 pounds... Tsukiko Mizuno... Pilgrim Paige... Witch Hazel... The COVVVENNN!
Paige and Tsukiko run a few paces and slide into the ring under the bottom rope, then arise swiftly from the canvas. They remove their coats and toss them to ringside as Hazel reaches ringside. She removes her coat as well and ascends the steps. Upon her entering the ring, The Coven stand side-by-side at center-ring, with Pilgrim Paige in the middle. Paige spreads her arms wide and throws her head back, sounding out a loud WOOO as pyro shoots up from the corner posts and explodes in starbursts of blue, silver and purple. The lights then return to normal.

Ring (& backstage/segment) attire reference pics:

Here's some written details, too:
Long, wavy bluish-purple hair. Deep blue eyes, but usually wearing violet contacts. Dark violet lipstick. Black or purple nail polish. Basic ring attire consists of a short-sleeve spandex midriff-baring top - black with a plum-colored stripe across the chest. Mid-calf black leather boots. Black Lycra leggings with a triangular formation of plum-colored stripes. In segments, Paige often wears her hair up, and typically wears black jeans or leather pants with longsleeve shirts or band T-shirts. She also wears rings and a necklace, usually her Trans Pride necklace, with the gender spectrum represented in colored beads: blue (masculine), pink (feminine) and white (everything in-between) and a pentagram pendant. On the way to the ring, Paige wears a leather trenchcoat.
Bio:
Paige was born in small-town Newfoundland, Canada—assigned male at birth and raised as such. A quiet, meek child, many formative years were spent isolated with a book, stargazing, or observing the exciting world of professional wrestling. But school days were spent as a target for bored bullies and condescending jocks. Senior high school revealed yet another harsh world, one of homophobia and bullying - physical, verbal and cyber. Bouncing from school to school and, later, odd job to odd job, there one day came a breaking point. The listless, depressed shell finally broke apart in an explosion of raw emotion and clarity. It was time to pursue something that "he" had only recently learned was truly possible. Thus began a journey of transition. Gone was the shell—and with a new lease on life, Paige emerged forth. A stronger, happier, more sociable person than she ever knew she could be, Paige set about shaping her life into so much more than she'd thought herself capable of. Soon, she'd enveloped herself in a world of music, art and social development. Time passed, and Paige continued to evolve and expand her personal scope. But there was still something missing. Still a blank space. The shadows of the past came to call. Remembering the importance of the pro wrestling world to her old life—an old flame that had all but burned out in the dark days of high school—she scoured for old videos and began to envelope herself in wrestling, anew. With the flame rekindled, Paige began to search for a trainer—hoping to burn away the repressed aggression and darkness inside. Instead of finding a trainer for herself, she was found by not one, but two. Two strange, yet familiar, souls. A mad, charred soul with a dark aura, accompanied by a determined, intense spirit with no voice at all...
So it came to pass that Paige endured rigorous training under the tutelage of two former 4CW competitors—Ravnos Midnight and Oki-Kira. For many moons, she worked tirelessly: learning from each athlete just what it meant to be a competitor. Harnessing the aggression and offbeat lightweight sensibilities of Ravnos with the focus and striking abilities of Oki-Kira, Paige soon proved to be a formidable athlete, anxious to prove herself in a real ring. A strongly worded (and slightly singed) letter later—accompanied by a lovely ikebana in a crescent moon-shaped vase—and Paige was soon trying out for 4CW. Her determination and resilience led her to impress fans and fellow competitors alike, in a tournament to crown the new 4CW Heavyweight Champion. During this time, both of her trainers returned to Japan, with Oki-Kira promising to arrange a new trainer for her. Paige was left feeling lost and uncertain for a short time, until the day came that she met the exuberant and talented Tsukiko Mizuno. Tsukiko's arrival would also bring about an odd meeting between Paige and her new trainer's enigmatic friend, a bizarre young woman calling herself Hazel. After elimination from the tournament, Paige continued to dazzle audiences with her risk-taking and hardiness, pulling out all the stops to prove her abilities and worth in the 4CW Universe. Allied with these strange new associates, what does the future hold for the Lunar Pilgrim?
Demeanor:
Paige is a quirky and bold young woman with a sarcastic wit and goth/punk/black metal aesthetic. She is very musical and spends a great deal of time writing music, as well as reading. She harbors an odd obsession with the moon and the colour purple. Paige feels that, as a transgender woman, dreamer and artistic sort, even the sky is not the limit, and that she is on a personal/spiritual journey that will take her "to the Moon and back"—hence the "Lunar Pilgrim" moniker. Despite her head being in and beyond the clouds, she is in tune with the earth and nature. She partakes in aromatherapy, personal meditation and takes influences from various pagan teachings and values. As a competitor, Paige is young, eager and aggressive, with luchadore-like tendencies. She is a frequent risk-taker, while also showing reasonable ring awareness and focus for a newcomer (though her inexperience and fiery attitude can sometimes get the best of her). When enraged, the "madness of the Moon" takes her, and all bets are off.

Entrance Music:
"The Astral Dialogue" by Agalloch
Entrance:
The arena lights go out, as well as the 4CWTron, leaving everything in pitch black. A thick layer of purple fog begins to envelope the stage and ramp. Barely visible through the haze, at center stage, a small violet flame flickers in mid-air, providing a momentary glimpse of a woman's face. Suddenly, she blows the flame out. The crowd buzzes in anticipation. Where she'd been standing, a deep violet firework ascends out of the darkness and explodes overhead, creating a starburst pattern. The crowd pops. "The Astral Dialogue" by Agalloch blares through the PA system as Paige appears through the fog, wearing a black leather trenchcoat over her ring attire. The 4CWtron shows dark, stylized clips of Pilgrim Paige in various settings: descending the staircase of the Moontower; stoking her fire pit, etc. She throws her arm up and gives the sign of the horns while pumping her arm a few times.
Carson: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Newfoundland, Canada and now residing on... The DAAARK Side of the MOOOON... weighing in at 134 pounds... PILGRIIIM PAAAIIIGE!
After a brief scan of her surroundings, the song's beat picks up with a growling vocalization and she takes off running through the fog down to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope and arising swiftly from the canvas. After removing her coat and tossing it to ringside, she walks to the middle of the ring. Paige spreads her arms wide and throws her head back, sounding out a loud WOOO as rapid bursts of purple pyro shoot from the corner posts. The lights return to normal as she commences running the ropes in preparation for the match.

Alignment:
Face (with tweener tendencies)
Appearance:
Tsukiko is a young, athletically built woman of mixed, predominantly Japanese descent. She typically wears lots of black and/or blue, in simultaneously gothic and more typical feminine styles. She has an expressive face and piercing golden-brown eyes. Her hair is a rich, dark teal-ish hue, as is her usual lipstick, giving her an "aquatic" vibe. Tsukiko's ring gear is reminiscent of this old Alexa Bliss ring attire, worn in either a shiny aquatic green/blue color or a metallic charcoal shade, as seen below:
Bio / Demeanor:
Tsukiko is typically upbeat and energetic. She also has a strong spiritual aspect and could be described as an eclectic witch, finding inspiration and engaging in practices from a broad array of pagan/neopagan cultures. Tsukiko could further be understood as a water/sea witch, whose spells and energy predominantly pertain to water, rain and the sea itself. She has a lifelong love for the wrestling industry. Though she isn't a big talker, Tsukiko possesses lots of natural charisma, knowing how to pump fans up and make a show of things. Her ringwork is somewhat unorthodox, with a mixture of traditional maneuvers, hard strikes and an Eddie Guerrero-esque creative streak. Outside the ring, she is known to be a free spirit, keen to explore and travel. She trained with Oki-Kira for some years while wrestling independently, taking a shine to the inner workings of things and the history of pro wrestling. A quick learner and natural hard worker, Tsukiko would soon become a trainer herself. Currently, she has relocated to Newfoundland, Canada and is notably training with young 4CW upstart Pilgrim Paige and the enigmatic rookie known as Hazel, who is apparently a close friend. These three have come together both in and out of of 4CW, becoming bonded first by wrestling and then spiritual energies, with Tsukiko seeming to be the most extroverted and lively of the trio. Together, they comprise a faction in 4CW called The Coven.
Finishing moves:
Tsukiko's Tsunami - five star frog splash
Calypso Clutch - Batista Bite (crossface/scissored armbar combo)
Weight-appropriate lifting finisher (against opponents under 210 pounds):
Poseidon's Trident - crucifix Gory Bomb, a la Chavo Guerrero
Signature moves:
Siren Song - Tsukiko grabs her opponent's head and leans in close, delivering a high-pitched wail that temporarily disorients them
Keelhaul - With her opponent grounded, Tsukiko rolls them to the apron and exits the ring, dragging them to the floor by the leg. Without releasing the leg, she then proceeds to drag her floored opponent under the ring from one end to the opposite, leaving them disoriented on the floor.
**This should be fun for match writers, as it can have varying results - the thought occurs to me of a comedic character coming out the other side looking traumatized, clutching a teddy bear and sucking their thumb. Or, in a no-DQ match, a cool backfire against Tsukiko would be for the opponent to be holding a chair they nabbed while being dragged, so that when Tsukiko and her opponent emerge through the apron, she ends up taking a chair shot. It could also be used dramatically, in a long match - a worn-down opponent may only narrowly make it back into the ring before the count of 10.**
Motion of the Ocean - repeating headscissors facebuster, a.k.a. Alex Shelley's Skull Fuck
Cut-Lass - cut-throat backstabber
No-DQ/dirty finisher:
Sea Glass Smash - Tsukiko puts on a sea glass ring and performs a Superman punch
No-DQ/dirty signature moves:
Sandstorm - Tsukiko digs into her wrist tape and retrieves a tiny baggie, pours the contents into her palm and proceeds to throw a handful of beach sand in her opponent's face, temporarily blinding them
Ocean Mist - blue poison mist; makes opponent's eyes water, temporarily obscuring vision
Other moves:
Evasive maneuvers (skin-the-cat, Matrix, baseball slide under opponent)
Stiff strikes (forearm smash, knee strikes, shoot kicks, chops)
Pinning combos (schoolgirl, crucifix, small package)
Stinger splash
Monkey flip
Hurricanrana
DDT (usually as a counter)
Baseball slide
Dragon screw
Snapmare followed by a dropkick to the opponent's neck
Running dropkick
Snap suplex (against opponents under 210 pounds)
Lady of the Lake (rare; mainly against comedic/humorous opponents - I'm trying to play her as somewhat impish, rather than all-out comedic)
Tag team finisher (with Pilgrim Paige):
Something Wicked - double frog splash (sometimes from same turnbuckle, sometimes from opposites)
Tornado tag rules finisher (with Pilgrim Paige):
Spiderwebs - simultaneous Calypso Clutch and Turn the Paige on a single opponent
Weight-appropriate tag team finisher (with Pilgrim Paige):
Lunar Trident - Gory Special (Tsukiko) / Diamond Dust (Paige)
Tag team signature move (with Pilgrim Paige):
Lunar Tide - seated surfboard (Tsukiko) / running bulldog (Paige)
Tag team finishers (with Hazel):
Spellbreaker - double straight-jacket backstabber (Tsukiko and Hazel grab each arm of a single opponent and then criss-cross each other, ending up behind the opponent with the arms trapped in a straight-jacket hold. Simultaneously, they jump and tuck their knees into their opponent's back, pulling them down into a double straight-jacket backstabber.)
Frog Legs - simultaneous wishbone leg splitter (Hazel) and frog splash (Tsukiko)
Song of Sorcery - Tsukiko uses the Siren Song to disorient an opponent, who staggers into a running big boot (Sole Sorcery) from Hazel.
Tag team signature move (with Hazel):
Meeting of the Minds - Hazel and her tag partner each grab two opponents' heads and bash them together, disorienting them
Tag team finisher (with either Pilgrim Paige or Hazel):
Frog Legs - simultaneous wishbone leg splitter (Paige or Hazel) and frog splash (Tsukiko)
Tag team signature move (with either Pilgrim Paige or Hazel):
Mistical - double poison mist from Tsukiko (blue) and either Hazel (silver) or Paige (purple), temporarily blinding and disorienting the opponent
Entrance Music:
"Oceans of Despair" by Doom:VS
Entrance:
The arena lights go out, as well as the 4CWTron, leaving everything in pitch black. At center stage, a small bluish-green flame flickers in mid-air, providing a momentary glimpse of a hooded woman's face, who suddenly blows the flame out. The crowd buzzes in anticipation. Where she'd been standing, an ocean blue firework ascends out of the darkness and explodes overhead, creating a starburst pattern. The crowd pops.
Dark blue lighting overtakes the arena, revealing Tsukiko standing at the top of the ramp and scanning the audience as the Doom:VS dirge, "Oceans of Despair", begins to roar from the speaker. The 4CWTron shows stylized scenes of Tsukiko dancing in the rain; staring out over the ocean from a rocky outcrop near the shoreline; roasting marshmallows in Paige's fire pit, etc.
Carson: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Tahara, Japan and now residing on the shores of the MOOOON... weighing in at 132 pounds... "The Siren"... TSUUUKIKO... MIZUUUNO!
Tsukiko throws back the hood of her black trenchcoat, pumps her fist, points toward the ring and takes off at a clip. She slides into the ring and flips forward, landing on her feet. Rapid bursts of blue pyro shoot upward from the ring posts as she pumps her fist, throws her head back and WOOOS, a la Pilgrim Paige. The usual lights then go back up and she hands her coat off to the referee as she anticipates the coming bout.

Hazel is a quiet, introverted pagan woman in her mid-20s. She wears very gothic clothing, almost all in blacks and greys. Tall, thin and with pale skin, hair and eyes, Hazel stands out in a room. Her height and billowy, flowing wardrobe make one think of some ghostly, ethereal figure. Her ring gear, however, is practical and body-conforming—typically consisting of all-black lycra or other tight fabrics, with the styles maintaining a gothic appeal in spite of their nature. On the way to the ring, this practicality is offset by her long, flare-bottomed the strange horned crown she frequently wears.
Attire reference pic:

Bio:
Little is known about Hazel before she took up with Pilgrim Paige and Tsukiko Mizuno. She seems to be well-travelled. Hazel speaks in a soothing, airy voice, which drifts in and out of an apparent European accent—perhaps Finnish or Icelandic. This, coupled with a lilting, somewhat singsong rhythmic quality adds to her otherworldly vibe. In Japan, she trained for a couple of years with Oki-Kira and then another two with Tsukiko Mizuno. Hazel is a young and somewhat green worker, still learning the ins and outs of the business. Her facial expressions rarely reveal any clear emotion and she comes off as somewhat aloof. Aligned with Paige and Tsukiko, she forms one-third of the heathen femme fatale faction known as The Coven. Hazel serves as a kind of spiritual trainer and muse to Tsukiko and Paige. She frequently arranges meetings in which the three women recharge their spiritual energies and focus, though Paige tends to carry forth the verbal proceedings. Hazel is a Dianic Wiccan, worshipping only female deities, namely the Triple Goddess (Mother, Maiden and Crone). Hazel's exact goals in 4CW are as yet unknown. Who can say what effect this spectre-like sorceress may have on the 4CW Universe?
Demeanor:
Away from the ring - gentle, serious and quiet.
In the ring - aggressive, swift and hard to predict.
Finishing moves
In a Haze - rounding moonsault, Alexa Bliss-style
Sole Sorcery - running big boot (or a running bicycle kick, to an especially large opponent)
Rare finisher (high-stakes/title match/PPV treat, sparingly used):
Hexing Headbutt - diving headbutt to the chest of a supine opponent, or to the neck of a prone opponent *quite rare move; commentary might play up the danger of the move*
Signature moves
The Pagan Path - arm-twist ropewalk forearm smash (basically Old School, but ending in a diving forearm smash)
Hold On to Your IQ - running, spinning facebuster, with Hazel maintaining her grip and repeatedly slamming her opponent's forehead into the mat
*Here, Hazel will continue slamming the opponent's head 'til the count of 4 (out of 5) or the referee pulls her off of the opponent*
Hold On to Your IQ: Part Two - straight-jacket backstabber, with Hazel maintaining the straight-jacket hold and delivering headbutts to the opponent's neck
*Here, Hazel's aggression may lead her to forget her shoulders, so the referee starts a count and she has to stop her assault and roll a shoulder off the canvas*
Head Games - falling reverse DDT, followed by repeating headbutts to the chest of a grounded opponent and ending with a jumping headbutt to the forehead
Wheels on Heels - with her opponent draped over the second rope, Hazel moves to the apron and performs a cartwheel kick to the neck of an opponent on all fours (or buckled over)
No-DQ/dirty signature moves
Mental Mist - silver mist (obscures vision and causes temporary confusion)
Salt of the Earth - Hazel throws a handful of sea salt into her opponent's face, obscuring vision
Wheels on Steel - *rare* - cartwheel kick from ringside to the neck of an opponent draped over the steel steps
Other moves
Basic strikes (forearm strikes, corner kicks, stomps, backhand chops)
Pinning combos (schoolgirl, small package, backslide, jackknife hold)
Dropkick variations, with high vertical leap (front, running, corner, missile, etc.)
Quick sidewalk slam
Running forearm smash
Cannonball senton
Spinning leg drop to the chest
Mudhole stomps to a cornered opponent

Entrance Music:
"Baltica" by Lycia
Entrance:
The arena lights dim as Lycia's gothic dirge "Baltica" begins. Bluish-white spotlights dance about the stage. A pair of silvery, cat-like eyes appear on the 4CWTron. Suddenly, it malfunctions, glitching into broken images and then freezing. The lights and 4CWTron go out, leaving pitch black. At center stage, a small silver-white flame flickers in mid-air, providing a momentary glimpse of a pale, feminine face—and the eerie eyes from the video loop. Suddenly, she blows the flame out. The crowd buzzes in anticipation. Where she'd been standing, a silver firework ascends out of the darkness and explodes overhead, creating a starburst pattern. The crowd pops.
The jumbotron restarts. The music and lighting, however, do not. At center-stage, tiny glowing lights appear, emanating from a small glass jar held by ten thin, long fingers. The left index finger bears a silver ring with a leafy pentacle design. In the glow, the pale face of a hooded young woman is visible, just for a moment. She seems entranced by the lights, which float about in random directions. A zoom-in reveals this movement to be fluttering rather than floating—fireflies flitting about! A single spotlight suddenly illuminates the scene, and the woman lowers her hood.
Carson: Making her way to the ring, from both everywhere... and nooowheeere... weighing in at 128 pounds... HAZZZELLL!
"Baltica" starts back up while the arena lights return, greatly dimmed. Hazel walks calmly down the ramp, looking straight ahead at the ring. The 4CWTron shows images of uninhabited landscapes and clips of Hazel strolling through dense forests. Hazel walks around ringside and entrusts her jar of fireflies to the timekeeper. She then slides into the ring and looks upon the sea people, taking a deep breath. She then stands perfectly still at center ring and closes her eyes. Rapid bursts of silver pyro shoot up from the ring posts. Hazel gazes about once more with her intense, lustrous eyes. The arena lights return to norma as she picks a corner to stand in, appearing poised and ready.
