The worst one I can think of right now is Evolution Worlds. It looked like the kind of JRPG I really like, but everything about it was awful.

I have played some shitty games but as for the worst, it's one I haven't played but my son plays the shit out of it.

What the fuck is that game even about??? You dig shit up, build shit, fight a zombie thing, rinse and repeat. The graphics are the shits. It's just a bad looking game with no plot and no end. I cannot see how people play this garbage.

Eh.. depends which FF game he is talking about.. the good ones are epic, but some of them are forgettable and very meh... i really lost interest once they put voice acting in and it seems they have gone down the linear path.
Minecraft huh? i never played it but i don't want to either because it looks dumb and something i wouldn't play.. i wont knock it though cause i don't play it... it's not for me though... and yeah for retro styled graphics those are ass.
Minecraft is an acquired taste, and not one that I've acquired. But I do get it! It's basically a survival game, and once you've hit a certain point it becomes more of a sandbox. People create amazing things with those blocks, and it all gets shared around. Have a little look on YouTube, the time and effort that goes into building some of that stuff is mindblowing. Just watching some of the jump map videos is hypnotic, really relaxing. The graphics aren't actually bad, they're just basic. With the right mods it can look really good. Spore. It was the last PC game I ever bought. A friend of mine linked me to a hype video for it that made it look like the greatest game ever made. Then when I forked out ~$100 for it, I played it once for maybe an hour and then never again.
I was actually interested in Spore too! What was it like? Was it just billed as something totally different then it was? Don't you start out as a molecule and eventually end up being like an army of creatures afterwards?
I can't even think of the worst game i've ever played, but they're probably mostly flash games.

I beat the shit out of that game as a kid... and i still remember all of the passwords... the spider gremlin at the end is the easiest boss in the whole game.
I thought this might be fun, and just something different.
So all of us who like to play games have at some point or another played a horrible game or was shocked by a game that looked so hype and just was a huge wreck when you put it into your console or computer... what are some of the games that you can remember this happening with?

I was about 5 or 6 years old when i discovered this game i was a huge fan of the movies and i saw this at a video store however it was out on rental and i waited for months to play it because it wound up being one of those someone rents it and never returns things... so my birthday rolled around and dad got it for me and i was crushed.. it was not what i was expecting at all.. i never did beat the cafe level and this game is actually how i discovered the angry video game nerd way back in the day because i youtubed this game just wanting to see what happened after the cafe.. haha... turns out after the cafe you do the same thing you did before it again and then end up in another similar level as the cafe and i then realized it's a good thing i never got any further... this was also in the days before internet in reviews.. kids are so lucky today.

I don't think i need to say much about this game haha.. it was a random rental and i ended up just laughing at how horrible it was and just couldn't believe this was even released.
other games would include
Mortal Kombat (SNES)
Shaq FU (Snes/sega ect)
Resident Evil 5 and 6 (360/ps3)
Aliens: Colonial Marines (360/ps3) luckly for me by the time this came out i had enough of shitty games and wasting my money i waited until it came out found out this was one of the biggest gaming disasters in years (no lie just look it up) i was happy i didn't buy it but sad because i waited so many years for them to finally make this game and release it and it just pretty much put the last nail into the aliens series making games.
I look forward to hearing stories from you guys or just titles too... hope this was enjoyable to read. 🙂
